laCanfora: Philip Wheeler visiting Dolphins

Why is Wheeler getting visit before the likes of Curtis Lofton. Lofton is the next best LBer UFA out there.

we are bargain shopping as we have done all through free agency. Screw Winston lets sign Hicks and Murtha for that money lol

Don't see why not, Wes Welker didn't show elite receiving skills here, but the minute he goes to New England he's a top WR in the league. Systems can change certain players, and in the WCO it will change our receivers IMO.
i don't think you seen welker play in miami ,why do you think belichick wanted him ?i also agree with dlocks moore and wallace ain't worth a sh*t.

I've seen Welker play in Miami, I liked him while he was here but he was no superstar. The guy really turned it up when he came into New Englands system.

Welker looked damn good here esp as the third receiver. These guys havent done crap to think they will be good players.

Gates did nothing last year so Wallace and Moore had chances and also did nothing. Gates is the only other guy we have on roster who might be worth a crap. Wallace and Moore together add up to hot garbage

System didnt change Welker, Tom Brady did...and Hartline sucks. LOL at the idea of him becoming our top WR.

I agree that they have not shown anything, but I'm saying that a WCO can change the way a player looks in an offense, I'm not going to be pissed off or anything if we do end up drafting 2 Wrs because it's understandable, but I wouldn't be opposed to just drafting 1 and seeing what Gates, Moore, and Wallace can do in the WCO.

We have a good 3 or so years, so there's plenty of time to experiment with our offense.

Belichick made Brady, Brady made the system and he made Welker.

I never said I wanted Hartline as our top WR, I said I wouldn't mind if we only drafted 1 receiver, because I'd like to see the progress of Moore, Wallace and Gates. Again I wouldn't mind if we drafted 2 WRs at all.

Overall yes but who knows what we have at DE if we are playing 4-3, not to mention uncertainty at olb and no real depth at corner. I dont see Marshall playing corner and he is not really a good corner. we have quite a few good starters on defense I was referring more to offense on the line which has two big holes and actually a third hole, wr depth sucks and we need another starter. Qb still a big question. Much less concerned with talent on d than how it will fit. Seems like we have alot of DT types in 4-3 and not many de types. Im confident Wake will be a good 4-3 end .

Funny you left out safety which I don't even know who the starters are.

Well Masrhall shoulld be a decent safety but he is really overrated when they talk about diversity. If he starts at corner our secondary will be horrible.
The other safety spot is a huge question also I agree.

We have three holes alone on offensive line. Need at least 2 wrs. need a damn qb. need another good corner. Need a pass rusher. we have plenty of needs. Three straight losing seasons and getting rid of our best offensive player and yet people act like we are so close to a playoffs.
point is...it is impossible to have pro bowlers everywhere.I mean cmon.give the system a chance.these receivers may look completely different in this wco.this isn't daboll, henning and sparono.this is philbin and Sherman.give these men a chance and see what we will do! Ee are only in march and the jets signed who? TIM TEBOW..and they aren't that much better than us.just let's wait till the draft at least bro.

how and he was the cardinals defensive player of the year? They don't exactly have a scrub defense either...

they never gave the man a chance on the field...but hyped him up during training camp

The jets signed Laron Landry who has been a much better player over his career than Richard marshall he was just injured last year. they resigned Pouha so we are basically even on signings . They still have their best wr and we dont. We also lost langford and bell so far so we definately havent gained on them. As for them being much better they havent had a losing season in a but so yes they have been better and they have won some playoff games. As for a pro bowler everywhere We now have one guy on team that was voted to a pro bowl last year and thats Long. We have a second pro bowl alternate that made game in Solai and a former pro bowler in Wake. SO we are hardly pro bowlers all over . In fact we just traded our only deserving pro bowler from last year. Also Carpenter made the game as an alternate a few years ago
