:err:I am asking for some insight as to what could be in the mix for the linebacker positions. We are very thin there and I am wondering if a trade or free adjent signing is possible? The draft can't provide starters now so what are the lines of thought on this out there. Thanks.

No way we trade for LB we are going with what we have and I dont think we look bad at all Joey had a bad year but Im sure he will bounce back this year we will end up picking one in the draft

Just wait until the draft. The needs that aren't address to the draft will be addressed with undrafted rookies and June 1st cuts. They will come at a lower salary and would be perfect for us.

Hoping Dan Connor ends up falling to 32 so we can pick him up.

Draft or June first cuts IMO. If you have a cart full of poo and you want it filled with something better, don't empty it to fill it up with poo again...push it along and wait for something better.

I don't know if we are thin at LB because we presently have 10 LBs on the roster with another 2-3 who could be listed as such in Jason Taylor, Quentin Moses and Rob Ninkovich.

The draft can indeed provide starters now if someone like Chris Long is drafted in the first or if Quentin Groves falls into the second.

The draft can provide very good starters. Jon Beason and Patrick Willis is 2 that came out at a PRO BOWL level. Chris Long, Erin Henderson, or Gholston (as a project) all three have a chance IMO to come out at that level.

Why is anyone worry,Bill'll take care of it...if there's a guy that knows LB's it is Bill.

Ozzy rules!!

both Torbor and Anderson can play inside and out in a 3-4. They've got OLB size, but have spent spent the last couple years (or in Torbor's case his career) as LBs in 4-3 defenses.

We'll get us some LB's if the ones we got can't cut it. Relax people, we haven't even drafted yet and with 5 teams with only about 4.5 mill their will be some casualties.

Beau Bell and Goff both could be guys to come in and start if drafted by us.

Vince Hall and Phillip Wheeler are going to be special too IMO. I also really love the way Durrell Mapp played for Carolina. Butch really had him playing good and he is a no quit sure tackler. May be there in the 6th or 7th.

I like Hall too but I like Adibi even more. Hall is too small for this defense in my opinion. He is only 5'11. He runs a 4.89 forty according to NFLDraftScout.com.

Adibi is 6'2 232 , same weight as Hall but runs a 4.69 forty again according to NFLDraftScout.com... This is what they say about him.." [FONT=Verdana,Geneva,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif][SIZE=-2]2007: Started all year at right inside linebacker, leading the team with a career-high 115 tackles (55 solos), including three sacks for minus 4 yards, as he also paced the Hokies with twelve stops for losses of 23 yards…Added seven quarterback pressures and a forced fumble…Deflected five passes and picked off two others for 71 yards in returns, including a touchdown".

If he can play inside, I want him. He is projected to go in round 2. Would you guys be willing to take him with the 32nd pick or is that to high?
