Most of Dawns contracts balloon in year 2 with a lower average after that and almost all have the team being able to move on after the 2nd years (3rd at the latest) with minimum cap hit...I know many dislike her potential influence, but she's damn good with contracts that make the players happy and protect the team long term.

As far as resigning players....they need to draft guys worth resigning...

i dont know how you can get out of 25 plus mil guaranteed money contracts with low year one hits after year two and not eat it raw in the end...have to be at least year 3...only reason we can get out of wheelers horrid deal next year is he was only paid like half that...

albert for instance we need 3 years mike wallace 3 years...but wallace is also more prime age so i'm willing to assume more risk

Some of the bigger contracts will be the 3 year route, but in general there is out....

By minimal cap hits I don't mean 0 dollars, but enough that if the team needed to part ways with a player it wouldn't have a huge impact.
