LaConfora: Fins closing in on deal for Moreno

I saw an interesting tweet saying we signed him for 3 years 18 million with 8 Million guaranteed, than i saw this thread. Trying to find the tweet. I really hope we aren't paying him that.

If we do then Hickey didn't do himself any favors.... Miller, Thomas, Gillisie and Moreno? I don't see the difference...

GODDAMNIT!!!!!! Now we can't sign Moreno, and then JLC would be right, and that cannot possibly happen.

Yes it can indeed happen based on the "Broken Clock Principle of Accuracy" : it's within the realm of possibility for him to be right 2X out of 1440.. or of course once every 720 instances. So for him to be correct here would be well within the standard deviation.

If this is true, i may reconsider my 40 years as a dolphin fan.

Well put.lol.... Let's hope he's wrong.. again..

I'd do a 1 year deal max with Moreno. There is no market at all for all the running backs out there so why would we throw extra years at him for no reason.

It is sad that even with potential good news that we all have our doubts of the legitimacy of the report. CBS Sports has to recognize they have an issue that needs corrected.

Decent signing if Tannehill gets to Manning's level this year, otherwise it's a lateral move. Of course, Tannehill playing that well would make almost any RB look good.
