LaConfora: Fins closing in on deal for Moreno

Well, just off the top of my head...last offseason we were on the verge of signing Jared Cook from Tennessee, Jake Long was heavily leaning towards accepting Miami's offer and a deal was being finalized and we weren't going to franchise Randy Starks.

There was more, and that's not even counting all this year's "trading Dion Jordan and Mike Wallace" monstrosity.

On Jared Cook all I see is he was high on our list:

His sources about Long ended up wrong. Incongnito said Long wanted to say but Ireland made him feel unwelcome.

I dont see anything claiming we outright wouldn't franchise Starks.
