Maybe, but still nice to have another "positive" opinion on Coach Gase from a respected, HOF player . . . especially since this was not a direct ask on "Adam Gase".

This just did not happen with Joe Philbin.

All this focus on what people wanted in FA and slamming the FO, without acknowledging that they were appealing enough to attract Adam Gase, which IMO is the best offseason acquisition we have had since Cam Wake in 2009.

very nice and I am just about Gase's biggest fan around here. However the guy is only human and our roster absolutely stinks and needs a deep and thorough rebuild before we can even hope for something like this

He is stroking Tannebaum so he can court him back out of retirement and suit up for us for one more big payday.

You don't know that. None of us know that. It's not uncommon to go from last to first. Do I think it's possible, of course. Do I think it's likely, of course it isn't. We have a major unknown as our HC/staff. That's no small thing to over come. If some how we finally hit on our HC/staff, sorry the talent is here, this can be a very good team. Good coaching can make that kind of turn around possible. However again, very unlikely.

You will have to follow the link because it is a video. He thinks because of Gase Miami will turn it around this year. He says Gase will help Tannehill improve enough for Miami to become a winner.

He says the Chargers and the Cowboys are the other two teams that can go from worse to first.

..

There are teams that do this every season...no real tape on what we are going to be this season...could surprise early and hang tough in the end...really need to be optimistic.....

Is it possible for us to squeak into the playoffs? Sure. But it would be a major surprise. We have a lot of holes on this team and our depth is horrible.

The real hole is needing another CB and needing another RB, however the RB situation just isn't that big of a deal to me. Pick up one in the draft and a cheap veteran after the draft and you are good.

Turner and Douglas could have major gains this season and were better options than overpaying in free agency for guys with less upside. Picked up 2 tackles that are better than Fox to protect vs. injury. Draft another guard and sniff around June 1st cuts, combined with Urbik and Bushrod and better coaching/scheme . . . . think we'll be fine.

LB is essentially "ok" at this point since we added Alonso . . . . certainly need more talent, but the starting core of Jenkins/Alonso/Misi can work, Hewitt looks solid backing up Jenkins and Vigil as a backup works. Sure they'll sniff the draft and bring in a veteran as well.

Safety is set

DLine is workable . . . certainly could sniff another pass rusher and another DT, but not necessarily a "hole".

WR needs another guy, but the top 3 is set and that is what matters. Figure a high upside at #4 and a returner at #5.

QB is fine since resigning Matt Moore

TE is set

Where are these holes at? We just need to add talent to individual groups . . . but outside of CB, holes have been plugged.

Las Vegas has the Dolphins at 7 wins this season. I am really tempted to bet $10K on the under there. Actually, I am currently trying to convince my GF to go along with it. She hates betting, lol. I am that sure. 4-12 is my current prediction.
