was anyone else bothered by the way he ran last night? he run up to the line and just hopped around never really hitting any hole that was there. Lamar you are not Barry Sanders, u need to run head long into those holes. Gordon is a big dude, he can move the pile if he puts his head down. One play that pissed me off was he got outside and instead of running straight ahead for 6 maybe 7 yards he went to the sidelines and ended up with 2 yards. I kno that the line looked like hell so u cant just blame him, but he needs to make smarter reads for what holes are there.

I was. However it is hard to blame a player who has played for one week. He also looked lost out there.

If you read other threads, you will note that in St Louis, he didnt run like that. It is us.

It was not us. It was him. It seemed like he was just thinking too much

It's not his style and he said that in his press conf. scripts he is a slasher no matter how big he is.There were no holes anyway so screw it!

Give me a break. On several replays, Gordon got the ball and already had a defender to his left, right and in front of him. He never had a chance. Let's not over analyse this, the rough play of Feeley and Gordon is a direct result of--you guessed it--the O-line. If you can even call them a line, you certainly can call them offensive.

While I do agree Gordon is at fault to a small degree...I'll stand by my statement that our o-line was 95% responsible. It's the same reason Ricky was dancing too much last season...coincidence? I think not.

Barry couldn't run with this oline. The second he got the ball he was hit. Get off of Gordon, it isn't his fault.

i agree with u, it is mostly the o-lines fault, but as a back in the NFL he has to be able to run for whatever is there, even if it is just 1 yard. Him jumping around wont get any yards an gives the defense second chances to tackle him

Again well said. I don't see how anyone can put the blame on Gordon.

did you watch the game? Yes the offensive line played like crap, however when the offensive line plays like crap it is more important to hit the hole quickly. A two yard gain is better then a zero yard gain.
