horrible i know the oline waas bad but he would dance behind the line make a
cut the wrong way, on some of those delays he was tackled way to easliy
he lloks like he has no instinct and vision i guess there was a reason he was 3rd string in stl

The o-line is more than bad. The guy has been there for a week and had no time to do anything. Not to mention the fullback situation. No way you can put that on Gordon.

This line play could actually stifle Gordon's development as an NFL back. Go look up his game tapes with St. Louis -- his running style was a LOT different.

re

Hell, I'd be dancing too if I was asked to run behind that line. In fact I'd probably just turn and run the other way. :(

It's the same reason Ricky caught a case of the "dances" last season...horrible o-line. I saw all the games Gordon started with the Rams and I NEVER saw him do what he did lastnight. Tells you something about this line.

Seriously, it was obvious to me that the OLine was by far the worst thing out on that field..

How can we expect AJ to do good when he has 2 seconds to throw?

How can Gordon be good when he has to run into piles all the time?

I was thinking for a minute that it was Gordon's unfamiliarity with the blocking and holes, and that we might benefit from letting Len Henry play...but then I realized there was no blocking, nor holes.

He is dancing around because there NO WHERE TO RUN!

Thanks. It is asinine to blame Gordon indecisiveness on him. He has no where to go. Its not like he is not hitting a hole. There is not one to hit, so he is having to find a small opening (maybe a inch or two) and get a yard or two. Kinda hard to find those type holes.

Also part of his dancing was avoiding being tackled in the backfield on every play.

the line was moving backwards all game, even in run blocking!! rofl

Does anybody remember this play...I think it was in the 4th quarter...where Feeley hands the ball to Gordon and he's immediately tackled by 2 defenders before he even takes a step?!! That is just inexcusable.

From what I've seen from the Rams games, I think Gordon is a talented back. Unfortunately he might not get a chance to prove it this season.

I remember it...it was pretty bad the whole game, but after that it was just blitz after blitz...i think that is the moment when the announcers started chiming in on the ridiculousness...where they actually started to roll back tape of missed blocks, not the good maves the defenders made, just how badly our oline missed blocks

I cant believe youre blaming Lamar Gordon, As a Rb you normally hit the holes well if theres no holes to run threw i would dance a little too so that i didnt get my head knocked off. Just face it our O-Line sucks and is probably the worst in football.

I agree with you. He didn't look very good at all. 95 percent of it was the play of the o-line. But there were times where there was a crease and he missed it. He also was going down to easily letting one guy tackle him. He hasen't shown me anything since he's been here. And he was a 3rd string back in st louis. Now i'm not saying that he's not a good back but I don't know that he is one either. What did they see in him to name him the starter with just one week of practice? He doesn't know the playbook that well and it showed in his indecisiveness with hitting holes. If there no holes you don't dance around in the backfeild looking for one that doesn't work in the NFL players are too fast. I said all of that just to say this. Lenard henry shold have started this game, at least he's been here and knows the system. And he has shown some flashes of talent since he's been here, unlike gordan

he had nowhere to go. he would get the ball in the backfield and have to start dancin just to make it back to the line. troubling to say the least.
