Not sure if anyone is interested but I was invited to a grand opening/charity event in Boca this evening (Thursday 3/19) which touts Lamar Miller as a special guest and free drinks and snacks. They told me anyone could go, so thought Id throw it on here to see if anyone was interested to chat up Miller and see if he thinks there's any possibility of Gurley joining the backfield.

Anyways, the place is called Fit Food Fresh, address is 129 NW 13th St, Suite #33, Boca Raton, Florida 33432 and I was told it was 6-10pm.

also, I do not work for the company.

hahahahah^ truth you would have to be pretty naive/dense to ask a question like that and not expect him to be rubbed the wrong way.

Sounds like a bad question to ask Miller.

To the OP,

Ignore them...all you have to do is reword the question. Lets do it something like this:

"Lamar...these days in the NFL it seems that teams are all running 2-back systems...I've always wondered how RB's feel about that? If the Dolphins drafted a RB, for example Gurley or Gordon...would you welcome the addition or do you feel like you can handle the full load?"

> something like that...get the question out there...but you want to sound sincere and "looking out for him" kinda...show that you have concern for how HE WOULD FEEL....if you word the question politely and show that YOU have concern for him and how he feels about it...then I think he would actually be happy that someone considered HIM FOR ONCE...and not just whoever the next big name is to come join the team.

- Enjoy yourself and PLEASE let us know how it goes!!!

Honestly, if you do get a chance to meet Miller...just say you are a big dolphin fan, it is great to meet him, congrats on getting a thousands yards, and you can't wait to see what he does this year. He may here it a hundred times a day, but it is better then putting him on the spot (unless you are a journalist).

You had me at free drinks ... you had me at free drinks.

In that proposition, Miller is just a bonus... Miller time!

i'm about 10 minutes away from there....may just have to take a stroll

This is true, I was being a bit facetious about asking him that. In reality it would be a good chance to get a candid, off the record chat about his opinion on Wallace quitting in week 16 or RT17's communication and chemistry with the remaining offensive players.
