The good news is we don't need a whole lot from him intellectually.

On a sidenote, Kevin Burnett was kind of a downer. "I know it's my second system in two years. There's gonna be a learning curve. Hopefully we can get some wins."

Marlon Moore was really upbeat. On picking up the new system: "There are a lot of intelligent guys on this team. We get in shape, we win."
 
It is a constant reality check about how the university system REALLY works when you see guys like that passing college classes.

It's ironic because what impressed me most about the wr's drafted was how intelligent & well spoken they are.

I'm sure you remember Edgerin James. Didn't he come from UM too?

He's probaby going to be mostly on special teams anyways. The guy we drafted last year really looked like the real deal towards the end of the season.

A RB that consistantly breaks 5+ yard runs is doing good in case you need the cliff notes version. :confused2:
 
He looks tired and maybe a little light-headed. Everyone was talking about the high-tempo that Philbin has been installing during the OTAs, so let's hope it was more that than his lack of polish in front of the cameras.

i don't know if it's true or not, but i heard he had a learning disability, doesn't matter thought, hasn't hurt his production on the field
