Just browsing the boards recently I see a lot of people saying they still don't think Miller can be a feature back. Heck, I see some people calling to draft Gordon in the first, really?

1099 yards on 216 carries is feature back worthy. Dude averaged 5.1 yards a carry behind a crap o-line. If we fed Miller the ball like Dallas feeds Murray he would have easily hit 1500 yards if not more.

We clearly have holes, but Miller is our feature back IMO. Williams isn't a bad second option either. I'd be fine going in with those two next season. Bringing back Moreno on the cheap could be an okay option as well as a compliment to Miller. Just my opinion.

You can't feed Miller like that, he never got feed like that because he always gets nicked up and can't finish games.

That's why people want Gordon, he has a Jamal Charles style.

He'a a complimentary guy. Goes down way too easily. No vision. Fragile. I would like to upgrade the position but we have so many holes it's hard to pick where we should focus.

Moreno was a band aid, one year fix. I don't think he'll be back next year because of his asking price and injury prone-ness. We do however need a change of pace bulldozer for short yardage situations. A younger version of Knowshon to compliment Lamar Miller. Williams can't do for us what a Knownshon type back can do.

Did I miss something? He was good the entire year. I'm not saying you're wrong.... I'm just wondering where you got that info. Also, I think a lot it was for whatever reason Lazor would abandon the run far too often.

Go watch the games again. Miller is always sitting late in games even when Miami is up, he gets nicked up too easy.

He can't handle a load.

I think because the most Miller has carried the ball in one season, is 227. and that was in college.

I LOVE Miller and I think they need another back to share duties with.

He doesn't go down as easily as he has in the past. He improved his running this year.

Best year since high school for Lamar.

But yea, he's not a "feature" back. Limited pass catching ability and yea his durability is a question mark if he got major carries. I think him and DW could be a solid combo tho as DW adds some legit tackle breaking ability and he's a better receiver. Lamar is more explosive when he has a crease.

I watched the games and they just dont run in the 2nd half period... Since Philbin got here, our offense has been geared heavily towards the pass, and I`d bet it has nothing to do with durability.... If it was, we`d be running on most plays to save our QBs durability...

I agree. Can't never have enough weapons on O. If Gordon is there they should draft him.

In round 1? Nahhhh

Take a look at the top RBs in this league . . . . the majority of them were drafted outside of round 1. Forte, Shady, Bell, Foster, Demarco, Hill, Charles, etc.

If we draft a RB in the 1st I will flip out... This is so far down the list for a team that runs on a 3rd of its plays... I mean come on!
