Lame duck plan?!?

I realize the distain for Ross right now with his help in moving harbaugh to MI, and the endorsement to keep philbin here. I to think we need a change although I do see some value in keeping Tannehill in a system to allow him to grow further. My thought is we are also gonna be stuck with Coyle too as joe is on a one year deal, lame duck position so who would take that job if Coyle is canned? Nobody worth a dam I can guarantee that... So my question is with Ross, hickey, tannebaum, Marino etc talking behind the scenes, is there someone they have their eye on that is also in the last year of their current deal either in the league or in college?!? Are they riding this out with a plan to attack a Jim harbaugh type next year or is this just a guy who doesn't know what he's doing? I'm holding out hope it's the former but my gut tells me it's the latter... How can that be with all the advice he has reached out for from tannebaum, Marino, mangini, dungy, Peterson etc?!? How can this be the plan if he really wants a winner?!?

So in hoping for the best who is also in a lame duck year that could be the future target to coach this team out of the endless spiral of mediocrity?!?
 
The situation is perfect for Rex Ryan for DC. if Philbin is canned he gets the HC job and retains Lazor, he will instantly have a winner team.
 
Let that pipe dream go, he won't just be a dc he will go talk on TV if not given another hc gig, and he will have his ideal spot in Chicago open most likely and also San fran and Atlanta with good teams and a vacant hc spot. He will not be the Phins dc

he belongs on TV the way he can run his mouth. But you're right. He probably lands one of those HC jobs.
 
I think you need to come to grips with the fact that Ross genuinely loves Joe Philbin and is actively looking for any reason he can find to keep Joe on as head coach of the Dolphins.
 
Ross doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes as an owner.
 
I think Ross should quietly reacquire Bush Dansby Long and Incognito then they all pull an N.W.O. takeover of this franchise. Richie gets to spray paint Philbin's back of course

Richie could leg drop him a few times first, then spray him. Wait, wait wait, would that be considered bullying? Wonder what Jon Martin would think of that.
 
Philbin is a lame duck.

Ross is just lame.
