Is Lance Schulters only signed with the Dolphins one year?
and if he is , i really like him i hope we are going to sign him.

He played really well and I'd like to see him extended maybe another 3-4 years.

id like to see us keep him through 07 and maybe draft his replacement in 06

Yup, we signed him to one year deal and I do think that we either give him an extension towards the end of the season or possibly just re-sign him during the offseason for perhaps a 3 year deal. I definitely think Lance Schulters will stick around here in Miami, however Stockar McDougle and David Boston may not be so lucky.

I have been impressed with both him and Jones, another 2 years for Shulters would be fine by me.

Well I haven't been able to catch all the games because they aren't all televised up here. However, I do have field pass (listened to every game that hasn't been televised) and to be honest, I don't understand all the Lance Schulters hype.

He looked pretty terrible in the Tampa game, although that could be said for most of the team. He got stiff armed and looked like a fool trying to tackle Pittman (ala McGahee on Edwards last year). I also remember him running into two picks on a Joey Galloway crossing route on 3rd down.

I don't know guys, maybe I'm missing something. Don't get me wrong, I think he's a quality player and excellent depth and the INT in the Carolina game was outstanding. I just think he's somewhat overhyped here..

Count me in as one who would like to see him get an extension.

He's a good coverage safety who really helps our passing D. Pittman is a huge running back, anything short of a LB can't bring him down and Schulters shouldn't even be put in a position to tackle him if the LB's did their jobs.

We've gotta somehow keep Schulters. If I had a choice between he or Jones, I'd pick Schulters but Jones is signed to a long term deal. If we can't keep Lance around it certainly would be nice to get hybrid DB Michael Huff of Texas or Jason Allen of Tennessee.
