I loved the pick up with Schulters and so far he has been playing real well I believe for the Dolphins. Would you guys like to see the Dolphins maybe sign him to an extension? We can't let another quality D-back go at the end of the season. What do you guys think?

It'd be a good idea. But no longer than a 2 or 3 year extension. He's already thirty I believe.

Schulters has to be a priority to be resigned.

I would like to see them give him an extention. He may not want top dollar since he already decided to play for us for the vet min.

Or that could mean the total opposite. I don't think he's that egotistical though.

I hope we extend his contract. As long we he continues to play well, what do we have to lose? And that doesn't mean we can't draft a FS or groom someone behind him either

I dont beleive he is either. Either way if he keeps up the good play we have plenty of space to work with next year.

Sound good. Hope we can keep him in a Dolphin uniform for a couple more years.

Keep him here for afew more years so tha he can groom a young guy, while continuing to play well.

I loved the Schulters pickup even though he does not have a history of making interceptions.

Having said that his interceptcion against Carolina was game saving.

He provides the veteran depth that is sorely needed in our secondary and he has finally picked up the system.

He's a priority to resign during the offseason (possibly earlier), I've been very pleased with his performance thus far. :beerbang:

David Boston and Stock McDougle on the other hand, I have been very disappointed and I really do understand why we signed so many 1 year deals, for situations just like this.

I'd definitely keep him around, he can be an anchor for our defensive backfield. Especially considering how our CB position is likely to be in a state of disarray for the next 1-2 seasons, unless Will Poole and Travis Daniels both turn out to be high quality starters.

with the huge amount of cap yall will have next year theres no reason not to resign him
