According to ESPN Insider, the Titans could be releasing the 30 year old Safety if he does not take a significant pay in cut. I won't quote the whole thing, just part of it. Here is a partial quote:

A decision on Schulters' future with the Titans could be made as early as today, the Tennessean reports. If Schulters doesn't agree to a significant pay cut, he's expected to be released...was a regular starter at free safety before suffering a foot injury last season which caused him to miss 13 games. He is scheduled to earn a base salary of $2.75 million in 2005 and count $4.2 million against the salary cap.

I really liked him while he was with SF. Anyone in favor of adding him to our roster if he becomes available and Saban makes an effort to sign him? IMO, we're too thin at S.

Yea for vet mininmum...we're not that bad at safety imo...right now we have ten including tillman

No thanks, unless for the minimum. I really don't feel he'd be an upgrade, from all accounts he's not the player he was a few years back.

We need to quit picking up old guys and we need to let our young guys handle the postion IMO. He would be a good pickup for us, but i want to see what Tillman and Bell can do.

I especially want to see what Tillman can do too but our inexperience at that position scares me alittle. :help:
