Back in June Juice said the two will be taking part in a little competition before the MNF game this week, has anyone heard any more about this?

Heading down for this game and want to make sure I go in for warmups if this is definitely going down. (or just keep tailgating if not).:drink:

I doubt the coaches will let them get too crazy. Maybe some one handed catches.

Beckham will also get to have that experience later in the season when the Giants play the Dolphins. Their roster has former LSU receiver Jarvis Landry, the player Beckham used to compete against in practices while making one-handed catches. Landry and Beckham are said to have set the stage for some kind of catching competition during pregame warmups in Miami on Dec. 14.

"I talked to Jarvis [on Thursday]," Beckham said. "We talk about it all the time. It's just going to be something we always dreamed of, if not being on the same team, being on the same field in the NFL is a blessing enough. So I'm looking forward to it, looking forward to seeing Jeremy and Jarvis. Just really looking forward to this season."

Kind of like that movie..

And the Dolphins this year

and the Giants

Actually I would rather watch 3 hours of them one upping each other.

I wonder if Monday Night Football will mention that Landry and Beckham are good friends...

I'm expecting both to try extra-hard to make plays on the field, with the result being OBJ will make some and Jarvis will make some, well, shorter ones.

Isn't Beckham kind of big to be thrown? Who we going to get to throw him, maybe Shaq?

And Landry is going to catch him? Poor Jarvis will get flattened if Shaq puts any mustard on Beckham when he throws.

You can take off some of that mustard if you put a strip of white paint in front of Shaq and ask him to throw Beckham from there.

One is a much better wr than the other. Who wins the catch contest is little consolation

Jarvis Landry says going off on sideline last week after a few failed drives was to fire the team up. "We got the W so I think it worked.”

On Landry's matchup with Beckham Sunday, he said OBJ's "biggest fan on the opposite sidelines." Said they're going to get together Sunday.

Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr’s one-handed grabs have become staples on highlight reels, but nothing compares to the “Freak Catch Tape.”

Somewhere in Baton Rouge, La., is a video of every catch that the Dolphins and Giants star receivers ever made at LSU.

Landry believes LSU running backs coach Frank Wilson has it.

It might be time to release it to the world.

“I had a copy, but I misplaced it and there’s literally every catch that we’ve ever made,” Landry said. “It’s called the ‘Freak Catch Tape’ and I think the most amazing catches that I’ve ever seen him make was — I wouldn’t say it was behind his head — but behind his head basically. It’s crazy to even really talk about it. It’s hard to even explain.”

Beckham’s pretty sure he remembers the catch. But he was just as quick to talk about Landry’s wild catches.

“He had two one hand catches back-to-back years against Arkansas — two ridicuous catches,” Beckham said. “And in practices, words really don’t do it justice. I can’t even sit here and try to give you a good enough picture. It’s something you just have to see.”

Landry and Beckham, who will show off their stuff in prime-time on Monday, aren’t the first college teammates to face ecah other in the NFL.
But few have savored it like this.

They have a bond that’s normally reserved for brothers and that’s exactly how Landry
