I felt at the time that we would lose the game from that point. The field position was completely flipped. Sure enough a disastrous sack fumble moved us to the 2 and that eventually led to the short field that led to the game winning FG.

Landry was a beast again yesterday, but was that a costly mistake? I didn't get a good look at it, but we're there Jags there that could have pinned the ball before getting a touchback?

Landry goofed. It happens. Even the best players aren't perfect.

Something something...

Was a bad decision to catch it. But there told to... Depending on the bounce it could've been worst. The sack hurt. Tannehill is a choke artist. Fumbles every time towards the end of a football game

I thought that at first too, but he caught it around the 7 or 8 yard line I think. 2 gunners were coming down and if he let the ball hit with that much room left and the gunners approaching fast, there is a chance I think it could have been at that spot anyway or worse yet, closer to the goal line. I think the ball bouncing into the endzone was probably the most unlikely of scenarios at that juncture.

He got wallopped on the return before and probably got reamed for not calling for the fair catch. Wasn't thinking straight.

i saw him look backwards after that.... i think he realised he goofed too. what can you do? it happens?

When a player gives you 50 great snaps, or whatever the number is, and has one drop or one goof up play, it stinks, and it's part of why you lose the game, but you can't dwell on it. I felt the same way about Reshad Jones slipping on a touchdown pass last week and may or may not feel the same way about the two bad plays out of 50 that our QB wound up with.

But yeah, to me it looked like that puppy was going to fly through the end zone.

I thought the same thing but the coaches didn't seem too concerned so I'm wondering if he's been told to only let punts drop inside the 5.

oh god yeah.... totally agree

and Reshad slipping, pushed, either way the coverage was great and there... .but that happens. was AMAZING to have him there and he stepped it up as always for us defensively sunday.

even against Jax Grimes let up a big play to Robinson early with a little slippage on the field, but his coverage was still there basically. (and didnt help with no pressure on Bortles)

You can't blame T-Hill on that. Any QB would of fumble on that play. Odrick had a clear path and blindsided Tannehill. The big mistake that Tannehill made was not checking down to Jarvis Landry where he had a clear 10 yards of space without any near Defender.

A choke artist? Can Jason Fox please block the guy in front of him for **** sake? It's one thing to feel the pressure and step up in the pocket to make a play. But for **** sake, block your man while your team is on the 2 yd line.

Um...the strongest hands in the world wouldn't have held onto that ball after getting plowed in the back like a freight train. Terrible post.

They were not near tbh. He could of let it bounce and I doubt they would of gotten there on time.

Darr boomed the punt out of there and then a penalty pushed them back to 24. It really didn't cost us besides the near safety
