Landry Jones & Jeff Fisher < My Dream (Literally)

I usually don't dream (at least that I remember) but did so last night that Fisher was pacing our sidelines and Jones was under center completing a long pass (don't know to whom). Can't recall much beyond that.

Psychologists assert that dreams are subconscious wish fulfillments but I dunno -considering I'm a strong proponent of securing Cowher's commitment before the Giants fire Coughlin.... and personally would rather the team catch its second wind and perform well.

But who knows, given the infrequency of my dreams, especially about the Phins (whose performance, if anything keeps me up tossing and turning all night) so maybe it's prophetic - or more likely, of course, amounts to nothing. :idk:

I realize the overwhelming consensus around here is for "Luck" (mine too if we end up truly sucking at season's end) and the popular choice for HC seems to be split between Chuckie (whom I think is overrated and do not want) and Cowher...but really, compared to what we've got, Jones & Fisher don't seem like too bad a consolation prize either, eh?

Not a big fan of Fisher. Coached in Tennessee for like 15 years and never won anything; I doubt fin-fans would be as patient.

& I get the feeling his players don't really like him. Maybe that was just Vince.

Either way, if it's not Cowher I'd like to see what coordinators might be out there at the end of the year.

I'd be happy with any of the three high-tier quarterback prospects (Luck, Barkley, Jones) and a coach like Gruden, Cowher, Fisher, and maybe Brian Billick if he's looking for work.

Kind've luke warm about Fisher. Respect him very much, but he was actually very underwhelming overall as a NFL-HC.
