He lost that fumble yesterday because the guy has no quit...it is part of what we love about him! I remember when we all used to hate watching Ted Ginn run out of bounds...well, perhaps yesterday Landry should have, but I will take his relentless effort any day!

Watch the his catch and run around the 1:00 mark of this video...his head is literally on the ground and his feet are still pumping trying to gain more yards!

I also loved how he essentially called out his team after this game. He doesn't want to be the "almost" team.

This guy is a leader and will bring others with him!

Great post, Cheers

I have no issues with Landry. A few of the pieces are here. Just need to keep churning. I see a huge difference between Gase and previous coaches. Must give this team a little more time. We have the most difficult part of the schedule behind us. If we fail in the next few weeks then its a reboot this year.

now if we could add a RW type tough runner with attitude that matches Landry I would do cartwheels. I think our run game needs some swag, might pump the OL.

Landry has so much passion for the game and I love it. That said, there were a few times I saw him get a bit frustrated with some Pats defenders and I was just waiting for a personal foul....

My biggest concern with Jarvis is that he is so hot headed, one day he will explode and get into serious trouble. He needs to learn to calm down and not get so emotional. He is one of my favorite players but Gase and the other coaches have a challenge. He's one of the most emotional players in the NFL.

That is a concern but as of yet he hasn't pulled a ODB due to the passion so I think he gets almost to that point but gets it in check usually with help from teammates.

He was flagged for at least one personal foul during extracurriculars last season.

I also get concerned that Landry is going to draw a personal foul or unsportsmanlike conduct penalty at the worst possible time. As we saw from the Benglas v Steelers game in the playoffs, a player reaction can significantly alter the course of a game.

He is a building block player for sure BUT - and it pains me to say it because I love him - he HAS to know when to say when with his intensity. There's a time to drive for the extra yard and there's a time to step out of bounds and save your body and the ball - like when four guys have you wrapped up and it's not a win or lose moment. I absolutely love our receiving corps. This offence will hum as the season goes on. The rest, I'm not so sure about but let's see it play out.
