Being a 2nd round pick Landry won't have a 5th year option so we need to sign him this off season to keep him from being a FA the next. And I was wonder if we don't resign him this off season will he be a FA or RFA?

They'll take care of Landry. There isn't more you can ask from the guy. Prepares well, never hear any discipline problems, plays hard and gives it his all.

Jones is the guy we're likely to lose. Only so much money to go around.

We'll have plenty of money to sign both Jones and Landry
plus with a few other moves we may even be players in free agency

The amount of 2 yard passes we give him that pad his stats are going to haunt us

Landry should be well paid, but should earn significantly less than the true 1 recievers like Green and Jones

What?

So far this year he's proven he can do everything. Pay that man..

At this point he is 3rd in yards and 1st in receptions.

I would swap Landry for Aj Green or Antonio Brown in a heartbeat. Landry is a very good reciever but he isnt at and probably wont get to that very top level.

We will no doubt pay him a lot of money and he deserves that but I hope the amount of short passes we have thrown him over the years that have given him reception records doesnt mean we pay him the same as the very best recievers.

In my mind the likes of Green, Brown and Jones are on a different level than the rest of the recievers and I hope we dont end up doing a typical Dolphins 'smash the cap' contract.

We have that guy. DeVante Parker.

That's what he was drafted to be. Nothing else.

So I'd say it's about time they use him and he delivers.

As for Juice? Pay that mother****er, and pay him deep. He is the heart and soul of this offense.

Jarvis is a truly great player who has consistently performed at a high level. Probably the best Draft pick that Dennis Hickey made when he was with the team. Yes Antonio and Julio are the elite WRs in the NFL, but Jarvis is damn good and he's a Miami Dolphin. He needs to be paid and with no quibbling like Lamar Miller.

Jarvis is probably looking at topping the Tavon Austin deal. Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 4yr/48-52m/35m GTD.

Julio Jones has 188 yards right now receiving. Landry is at least on his level, no doubt in my mind about that. He is truly elite. If Devaney Parker hits his true potential, we can have a top 5 receiving core with Landry and Parker leading the way. They are truly complimentary receivers to have as your leading receivers.

I like Jarvis Landry, and I hope we keep him. But his market value isn't as great as Julio Jones (who is currently playing injured).

Julio Jones is a complete WR, who is a deep threat (4.39 speed), a big target (6'3", 220 lbs), and can do it all. He's someone that stretches out defenses, and commands double coverage.

If you can only have one great WR on your team, most teams would choose Julio Jones over Jarvis Landry.

Just because Julio Jones currently has 188 yards does NOT mean Landry is on his level. I love Landry he's a great receiver but he is not elite. Julio Jones is at worst a top 5 WR in the NFL.
