While most of his Dolphins teammates are enjoying some time off before the start of training camp on July 30, wide receiver Jarvis Landry is turning it up big time according to former Dolphins wideout Chris Chambers. He has been working with Chambers since minicamp broke, and the former Dolphins great sees a drive and attitude in “Juice” that is very rare, especially in younger players.
“He just continues to work,” said Chambers on an appearance with The Finsiders. “He actually came over to (The Chamber– Chris’ fitness facility), and I got a chance to work with him a little bit and be able to put my hands on him for a few weeks, and he’s really into it. A lot of guys right now, they’re on vacation for another couple weeks until after the 4th (of July), and then guys will crank it up. He’s already training, getting ready for this season.”
With this kind of work ethic, coupled with Landry’s budding talent and excellent receiving traits, Chambers sees “Juice” as a player that won’t just avoid the sophomore jinx, he says he’ll break it down, and excel.
