Then you give up the anchor of your defense, and waste money on yet another castoff QB.

"castoff QB"? Do you even know what this term means? We aren't signing Daunte Culpepper or Chad Pennington. This is a QB that is probably the hottest free agent in the league because they simply cant keep him. They have a top 3 QB already and as it turns out their backup looks like he might have the making of one of the better QBs in the league.

I'm pretty sure we resign soliai as a 4-3 dt n not nt, keep odrick and Starks McDaniel let Langford walk, I think merling has 1 yr left , if we sign a QB fa than Upshaw, coples along with a te in rd 2 or 3 with a linemen in the other will be our plans.

Consistant, not missed a game, IMO would be easier to re-sign and would not give me the worry if I was GM, of slacking once he received payday!
