I keep hearing how good of a pass blocker he is and even in the press conference Gase touted how good he could pass block and when asked about his run blocking ability... he kept talking about his pass blocking acumen. So my question is..... If we're playing him at guard... he's going to have to run block. How good of a Run Blocker is he??

Take it look at his highlights and I think the answer will easily present itself. He's a decent run blocker but not a mauler.

I still think he should stay at OT, move James to Guard. Tunsil is a stellar pass blocker and adequate run blocker- one of the best things about Gase is that he supposedly plays to players' strengths, time to do that now. Better for short term and long term imo, let james suck it up for a year, Tunsil replaces Albert at LT next year for contract reasons if nothing else.

That's the thing... I did and I didn't see him moving people run blocking from the tackle position. What I was were seal off blocks and cut blocks but not many straight up drive your man off the ball blocks. I'm not saying he can't do it... But I know for sure, playing guard he's going to HAVE TO

This kid will fit anywhere he is needed and play well:

In terms of pure football talent, Tunsil is athletic and skilled enough to do it all on the offensive line. A move to right tackle would be seamless for Tunsil, and he’s very strong and physical, which are traits needed to move inside and play guard. Tunsil also projects as Miami’s left tackle of the future once Albert leaves Miami. These are all reasons many viewed him as a top-5 pick minus the character red flags.

Tunsil joked he will play anywhere the Dolphins need him.

“Anywhere they put me would be fine,” Tunsil said. “If coach wants me to play quarterback, coach wants (me) to play receiver, tight end -- hopefully tight end -- but whatever he wants me to play.”

As for the specifics I'll leave that to the X and O's guru's on the board. Let's atleast be grateful at this early junction we don't see any of this from any of his highlight tapes

Disgusting I don't know how they let this guy back in the building...ever!

I worry that his strength is his feet and ability to handle edge rushers, run blocking and pass blocking 340 pound bull rushers at guard is a different ball game.
