Larry Brackins is avaliable. He isn't that football aware and he's very young. But he is the definition of raw talent. His vert is incredible, 35inch, he can catch just about anything thrown at him, 6-4 1/4, run's a 4.63 in the 40, 9 foot 4 broad jump. IMO, he's ideal for deep ball passes and over the middle passes. www.nfl.com/draft/profiles/2005/brackins_larry

We have enough receivers. Why would we get rid of somebody that has worked so hard to get on our team -- for some risky undrafted FA that happened to play well at a community college? No thanks. That isn't very Saban-esque.

A 35 inch vertical isn't really "incredible". 37 inches is generally regarded a very good, while 40 inches is fantastic and 42 inches can be considered "incredible"

Chambers I believe has like a 40 or 41 inch vertical. Santana Moss had a 40 inch vertical as well, I believe.

Heck, the 6'6" 240 pound Matt Jones had a 37 inch vertical...which makes him all that much more dominant with his 4.37 speed and 6'6" frame (throw the ball as close to the bottom bar of the goal post as possible and watch him be the only player that can snatch it).

He could play as a TE.

Nope Chambers had a 45 or over meaning he jumped the over the machine's max basically. Only Boss Bailey has done that last I've heard... :D

Wow. Incredible. Do you have a link for that one by any chance?

Wow man, crazy. I know Jevon Kearse did something close to that too. I think they just flat out asked him if he could touch the team's 12 foot ceiling, and so he not only did it but he palmed it.

You really need to take into consideration the 6'4" height PLUS the 37" vertical. It's more the combination of the 2 than just how far his feet get off the ground that make the difference. I was actually hoping he'd end up in a Dolphins uniform on draft day, because he really could be a solid WR with the right coaching, but we cant afford another "project" right now, especially with Manny Wright taking up a roster spot. There will be more WRs with incredible size, good hands and decent speed/jumping ability in this next draft, so I think we'd be better off waiting this one out.
