I know Larry got cut, but how has he been doing? His knee any better? And Dario, where did he go? Did anybody ever pick him up? Same with Thompson.

We need to sign Peerless Price and now. Hopefully he can show to the league that he's still a capable #2, which he is. He's a better #2 than Gilmore that's for sure...

Thompson is still on our IR. I think.

Dario could give some team depth at DT, he's not terrible.

Who we need to sign...

The bottom of our roster was garbage. Teams weren't exactly rushing to the waiver wire to grab our rejects. Donald Lee found a new team but I'm not sure anyone else did. We're much better off without a belly bumping limited blob like Larry Chester, and Dario Romero was pure jourmeyman who should be thankful he played as many years as he did. Our roster was so weak at the bottom we were cutting guys after the final cutdown and signing players waived by other teams. I think the center/guard from Carolina is the only one who stuck.

Dario Romero was a Journey man? He was like 25-26. And what guy from Carolina? Berger? We got him this year. And Larry Chester did the same thing Keith Traylor is doing now.

You do understand that Larry Chester, when he was healthy, had virtually the same physical dimensions and physical ability as Keith Traylor, correct?

Wait...werent you the guy who did all those incredibly insightful posts about Zach Thomas, as well?

Ha! No, but I do understand that was the conventional wisdom, i.e. mythology. I watched Larry Chester at the snap for years. He was an uninstintive guy with absolutely no lateral ability or tackling skills. His typical pass rush was the same length as a tap in putt. Anyone who would compare him to Keith Traylor in terms of disruptive ability or overall skill has no clue.

Find one post I made about Zach Thomas in any negative terms like you implied and I'll give you $10,000. It doesn't even have to be here. Use the entire internet. I think I posted one time that this looks like the first year he may have lost half a step, and I'll stand by that. I've loved Zach Thomas as a player and competitor since I first saw him as a sophmore at Texas Tech. I was thrilled when we drafted him.

But nice try. Come again.

You can be a journeyman at any age. It refers to ability, not travel.

That's what I wrote, we got Berger this year, after cutting players from the end of our roster because they weren't exactly special or coveted by other teams.

I see you're another guy who fell for the Larry Chester myth. Fairly common around here. I posted from my first week here that Larry Chester and Derrius Thompson were dead weight and would never play for us again. Saban apparently agreed.

Still waiting, Disgustipate. Now upping the ante to $25,000. Find and win.

You are kidding, right?

Note I was asking a question. I tend to want to combine all of the harebrained ideas and beliefs I've heard on Finheaven into one single poster, it seems.

Larry Chester was a good, not great Nose Tackle type player.

The reason he is not back is pretty apparently because he is not healthy or not in shape. He was told that he could resign when he was healthy.
