The team is taking his recovery very slowly. He had a serious injury, and it's compounded by the fact that bigger linemen have to deal with the conditioning problems that come with being unable to do alot of cardio excercises while injured.
He hasnt practiced yet this season, but regarding the season opener, and I quote: "I don't care if I have to die in the (fourth) quarter, I'm going to be there."
Odds are he isnt going to be able to contribute alot before mid-season. But that shouldnt be a huge deal, as neither him nor Traylor are going to be asked to be on the field excessively. Probably something like 20-30 snaps per game split between them.
