I was wondering if anybody has been able to watch him through his career. He is supposedly moving up draft boards.

Do you like this guys potential to stand up in the 3-4? I know we got Cam Wake but we need to groom a young guy to be a pass rusher when Joey leaves or retires.

He seems to have the size at 6-2 250 and has pretty good speed in the 4.7's. But i have never watched him before.

Do you think he is worthy of the 25th or do you think that he is more worthy of our 44th pick. Im not saying he would be there but I am just trying to see where he stands. Is he a legit 1st rounder or an early 2nd rounder.

I have read scouting reports but i would rather hear from people who have seen him practice or play.

I've seen him play a few times. If we get him, he's strictly suited to replace Joey Porter because the biggest weakness I've seen from him is his inability to set the edge. He gets up the field so fast sometimes, much like Everette Brown, he takes himself out of the play.

I think he'd be a good WOLB for us, and with a year or two to learn from Porter, he'd be fine; definitely an upgrade to Charlie Anderson as a pass-rush specialist. He's certainly got the build, and good intangibles from what I've read, something the Parcells FO will love.

I'm not too concerned with the dip in production his senior year, he was doubled and even sometimes triple-teamed. Parcells and Co. have unearthed some gems from smaller schools in the past, such as DeMarcus Ware, so I don't think they'll have any trouble selecting English.

I just wonder if Cameron Wake was signed to be Porter's replacement, because I've got some doubts as to whether or not Cameron would be able to play the strong side spot any better than Matt Roth does.

There's tons of youtube video's on him if you want to check him out. He is a monster worthy of a 1st round pick. He will not be there when we pick in the 2nd round. What I'm hoping for is we trade down just a little in the 1st round and still get him. Then maybe move back up to the early 2nd round and snatch up Alphonso Smith if he's still available. If we got those 2 players alone I would be thrilled with the draft.

thanks guys i would love to have this guy i was just wondering if it would be a reach for him to be our pick at 25. They compared him to Woodley which would be awesome in my opinion. here is a basic scouting report.

Strengths: Great build: strong and has solid muscle definition ... Consistently impressive statistical production ... Tough, physical ... Gritty player who maximizes his talent on the field; great motor ... Does a great job of anticipating the play and has a sixth sense you look for; Instinctive ... Gives second effort as a pass rusher ... Virtually unstoppable rip move ... Gets leverage and powerfully executes the bull rush ... Nice hand technique at point of attack ... Brings leadership to the table ... Outstanding character off the field.

Weaknesses: Does not have much lateral range ... Lacks flexibility and some balance ... Does not explode off the snap; burst concerns ... Not versatile; strictly a 3-4 outside linebacker ... Maximized body frame? ... Can he pass rush standing up in the 3-4? ... Huge durability concerns.

Summary: English is going to be a safe pick for the 3-4 teams, yet still has some upside in his game. I really do not see a 4-3 team spending a first- or second-round pick on him. English has great intangibles, but they are countered by his long injury history. What you see is what you get, and I am not concerned about him playing against lower level competition. English will likely come off the board in the low first to second round.

I just watched his highlights this guy looks clutch...alot of his plays came in crucial situations. And is pursuit is UNREAL he plays till the whistle blows.

he does have a non-stop motor and a plethora of pass rush moves... very tqalented. he caught my eye this past season when i saw them play a couple times.... i checked into him, and he definitely impressed me during senior bowl drills..... needs to bulk up a little more and will struggle in pass protection.

Well this is a deep draft for OLB and i know we will get one i just hope he comes in and goes opposite of Joey from day 1. English has the intensity drive and character to make that happen.

He doesn't have the ability to set the edge well enough to make playing opposite Joey Porter from day one happen.

He's more the potential replacement type for Joey Porter; but we might have already found that in Cameron Wake.
