might become my fav player ever.... besides the fact he dominates, is a great WR, a great character, a great person (from what i have seen and heard)...... he just offered to renegotiate his contract so they can work out and sign boldin as well this off season..... that is a GRAND person in my mind, a team player... one that will do anything to win.... i love him!!! very impressed
 
It took me half the post to figure out who he was talking about.
 
thats because i think larry realizes that he would get doubled every play if boldin wasnt on that team. but i do agree. larry shows you can be one of the best at your position and not have character issues (loud mouth, off-field incidents), TO and Chad Johnson = Big mouths. And larry is better than both of them at this time. kudos to Larry and good luck in the Superbowl.
 
exactly, the love of the game, and willing to take a pay cut basically to keep the team intact, especially important players that is needed (obviously would help Larry out too).... much respect to this man.... Larry Fitzgerald

Good for 'Arry' (sorry).

It would be easy for me to sit here and say 'Someone like that gets paid such a ludicrously high amount. Shaving a bit off his enormous salary won't exactly put him on skid row' but the fact is it's his money which he's willing to give back a share of to placate a teammate. In his situation (not that I ever would or could have been) I don't know if I would do the same. It's admirable of Fitzgerald to offer.
 
Far be it for me to make the judgment as an outsider, but which guy seems like a better friend and teammate: the one who cries and whines when he realizes the other one -- who is clearly better -- is making more money, or the one who is willing to give back some of the money he earned just to make the other happy?

Even is hes double covered they throw to him and he catches them..LOL this guys is not only an amazing WR but also a hell of a person. I have alot of respect for him.
 
I thought the guy writing the article was being a bit unfair to Boldin. He's a tremendous receiver in his own right. I don't think he was being as much of an idiot as they were making out when he was arguing on the sideline. Obviously it wasn't the time for doing that but I imagine he wanted to contribute to the team. I would think there's no 'bad blood' about it outside the media now.
