Larry Johnson 'thankful' for shot with Dolphins

Amazing bad signing.

It's like we tried to sign a really bad person that was still in or around the NFL that could not longer play and found Larry Johnson.

I do not get it.

Well I guess Clinton Portis looked like a poster boy for AARP. Heard he had the moves of a heavy garden ornament.
 
maybe LJ has something left in the tank
grigsby and sheets didnt exactly shine
 
my teacher a few semesters back told me that when she was at parties with LJ he'd be the most faded person there and would be doing lines right infront of everyone.
 
The guy is a good football player when his mind into it, rest of the time he is an air head.
 
I don't see how ppl are bashing the FO for making this move. So all of a sudden he forgot how to run or something? The guy is clearly a upgrade over Sheets AND Grisby AND hillard. Two weeks before the season starts and we add needed depth to our backfield. He might be 31 but the phins mustve seen something out of his workout. I'm not expecting the guy to come and do big things. Sounds like he has something to prove.

He is a live tackling dummy, training camp fodder to save wear and tear on DT.

Yep, I rather have Ricky than this clown. And um, to the guy who said Herm Edwards ruined his career, no Larry ruined his own career. Pioli had enough of that clown and ended him, waived him off just in time so that he can't sign with any playoff team. I wish more GM's had that type of balls because some of these players aren't appreciative enough at the opportunity they have in front of them, to play the best sport IMO and get paid millions for it. Larry was one of the best prospects at running back I've ever seen in college, but his attitude is embarrassing. I don't expect him to take away any carries from DT.
 
Oh ya just to add, if we told Ricky he would get 0 to 4 carries a game MAYBE, he would have signed instantly, which is basically what the third running back would be doing anyways, and having Ricky as a third running back is a luxury. Just stupid to not sign him and I think it has a lot to do with the comments Ricky made about Sparano in the offseason.
 
she was a 100 level teacher (which barely counts ) and close but it was WVU
