Larry Shannon Signs With the Jags

I can't find the link at the moment (I read this on my PDA TSN download this morning) but it looks like Shannon, the 'Fins third round receiver a couple of years ago, will get a shot at playing with the Jags. I remember really liking that pick back in 1998 and was really disappointed when he blew out his ACL.

Anyway, he spent last year out of football and is attempting a comeback so I wish him tons of luck. :D :D

Yeah, I even recall that he was called a "Poor Man's Randy Moss" in camp that year.

He never even got that far. He blew out his knee right from the get go. So you can't really knock him that way.

Poor guy never had a chance after JJ justified skipping Moss by saying that Shannon had as much talent, then he blows out he knee. Now he'd be lucky to have career stats as good as single season stats for Moss
