Has the Chiefs as the favorite to win the SB next year with the Dolphins with the longest odds to win it all. I don't have the link but it is on ESPN. Let the collapse begin.

It will be the Patriots vs some random NFC team. I don't need some clowns in Vegas to give me any odds. Until Goodell, Kraft and all their buddies are gone, the NFL is not worth watching.

When a below average team's owner is said to prefer tanking in an attempt to get a QB the next season sports books tend to listen and set the odds accordingly.

Those odds could be doubled and it wouldn't be a decent bet. The hockey example of the Golden Knights last year was the most recent jolt to futures oddsmakers. It happens maybe once per decade on average. Some team like the 1987 Minnesota Twins or 1999 Los Angeles Rams defies the projection and all of a sudden the sportsbooks are in major jeopardy of paying out at massive odds.

The next few years after the example, futures odds across the board are silly low. But like anything else, laziness sets in and memories begin to fade. Young oddsmakers who perhaps weren't in the industry during the prior huge payout don't see any harm in setting some team at 250/1 or 500/1, like the Golden Knights. What could go wrong?

But once that ticket either pays off or nearly pays off, the cycle resets and futures odds plummet again, at least for the next few years. The shaken sportsbook manager will give one rule to the person who sets the futures odds: Make everything too low, and then chop it some more before we actually allow wagering.

As always, 5 ducketts on the fins to win. One of these days it will pay off.....
God I hope ducketts is dollar bills and not anything larger. I guess when it does pay off it should pay big!

I will definitely take the over for number of wins because this team won’t even be able to tank properly.

dont care. we have enough young talent to win games. it will be up to who plays qb imo

Miami’s home field advantage since the partial roof has been put on is a lot more than what people think.
