I'm lazy and I'm on my way out the door to school.

I was hoping an enterprising Dolphin fan might know this off the top or possibly verify it for me.

My guess would be one of the Marks Brothers in the Marino era.

I think Chambers got 1,000 yards but not the double digit TD's.

EDIT: OK I checked anyway, Chambers got 1,113-yards and 11-TD's in 2005.
In 2003 he had 11-TD's and 963-yards.

I know T.O is a head case but he does put up doublt digit TD's and 1,000-yards pretty consistantly (8 of 13 seasons).

It would be nice to have a reciever with that kind of production on the field in 2009, without the me-first attitude disruptions of course.

OK, my better judgement says don't sign T.O. but if we don't the Pats will, would it be better to have his 1,000-yards an 10-TD's than have to face him and Moss with the Pats?

Chris Chambers hauled in 1100 yards and 11 touchdowns during the 2005 campaign, en route to his only pro bowl.

Arguably his best game as a pro was during that season...catching 11 balls for 217 yards and the game-winning touchdown from Sage Rosenfels with 10 seconds left. It is also the most exciting game I've seen to date.

Why does everyone think the pats will pick up anyone a team releases? He's not going there, believe me.

Why isn't this with the TO thread?

I really wish we had Scott Linehan and Chris Chambers back as our OC/ #1 WR combo right now. Chambers was monstrous that year in that offense with crappy Gus Frerotte, Pennington would light it up under that system tossin it up to CC.

We arent desperate for a WR.... Besides...Drafting Wr's late 1st or 2nd round has been working well for alot of teams lately....

Imagine TO and Moss. Holy crap.

That would last for about 1 game before each of them would be whining to the press about not getting enough passes thrown their way. If they both could just play the game without the mouth/egos, then yes, that would be a very scary combo.

Because my question and the title of the thread is "who was Miami's last 1,000-yard & double digit TD reciever"

OK, new Question, has any player past the Marino era and besides Chambers put up 1,000-yards and double digit TD's?

Maybe Irving Fryar....Even though he was a patsie once in time. This is off the top of my head though.
