Last Day to Renew Season Tickets and get free Seaworld passes

Sadly, I have decided not to renew at this time. I wanted to wait until after FA and the Draft to see if any new acquisitions enticed my desire to shell out $2k again for next season. Frankly, I want to see the kind of retention efforts the Dolphins put forth to keep me around again next year before falling for the, "dont lose your seats! " bait.

( Bcsupratt, are you a ticket rep? HAHA)

The problem with Sea World doing the right thing is that the company is publicly owned, which means they doing the ethically right thing will be done only if they shareholders elect to do it (which means if if will be most profitable). Since right now Sea World makes money by torturing these animals, it'll be business as usual.

so the pilot whale they have in the back with scoliosis that will probably never be released and is in a tiny tank because otherwise it would drown....should they stop nursing it back to health so one day it can go with their 2 belugas or should they just throw it back in the ocean and let her drown?

yes their entire goal is to make money, like publix, like walmart, like the miami dolphins, but along the way they rehabilitate animals no one else on earth can...think of 2010 and how many animals they helped because of the oil spill...they rehabilitated 300+ sea turtles that year...

they do more good than bad...and yes the research they do is BS, but a few whales in a small tank vs 300 sea turtles that would have died without them...

and once again, i dont like that the whales are in tanks so small, i know they can swim hundreds of miles a day...but if you needed a movie to tell you thats not cool then you probably dont need to be making very many important life decisions (once again, not aimed at anyone in particular, just tired of anyone that makes up their mind because of one biased documentary rather than looking at things for themselves and making a decision)... and as other posters have said, release your dogs and birds and other animals into the wild because its not fair for them either...

if I was ever going to Miami id make a point of going to go to seaworld and yes see the whales, I guess im a bad person :rolleyes2: *shrug*

Haha, no I am not a rep although I should be one considering the amount of friends I've convinced to commit to season tix this year...I just wanna win baby! and the more crazies like myself I can convince to go and make some noise, we may actually have a home-field advantage for once ;)
