We almost went into OT with that last play prior to the game winning FG with 1 second left. Why didn't we just take knees and kick the FG?

tried to punch it in from the 2 because of the crap weather. no problem with it. Damien Williams just need to be more aware of the situation and should have just gone down. he'll get a tongue lashing for the coaching staff over it.

Damian Williams is dumb as a box of rocks. He makes a few good plays but he's a bonehead - we've seen that on ST in prior seasons and now in the backfield. His spot needs to be upgraded next year.

In that rain I trusted a up the gut run instead of a kick. The kicking game was screwed up all day.

Poor coaching there. Gase's ego got the best of him -- and it nearly cost them the game. Moore nearly mishandled the snap, and Damien Williams went full r*tard. The remaining second bailed Gase and Williams out.

BS. It was the right call. Gase and anyone that follows this team consistently rightfully has no confidence in the kicking game. Factor in the weather conditions which already contributed to a blocked XP earlier in the game, it was the correct call. You have to worry about the snap in either situation and a bad hold of the snap was just as likely as a fumble and a shanked kick as much a possibility as a turnover.

I like my chances trying to run it in rather than bank on a FG in the monsoon. If you don't get in, then kick it. Having the timeouts made it a sound decision. And it still worked out despite Williams messing around in the backfield.

It was a 21 yard field goal. I do not care what the kicking conditions are. If you can't make a 21 yard field goal, you do not deserve to win the game -- and you need to find a new FG kicker pronto.

Let's see, on the last play we had nearly a mishandled snap, a fumble, and a player acting like a moron. Yeah, I will take my chances on the the 21 yard FG any day of the week.

I wouldn't have ran there. I understand it was raining hard, but it's still a 21 yard FG. Don't risk making a mistake which is what we almost did.

Dolphins like to make things interesting. No win is easy

I have no problem with running the play, I just think they were too cavalier getting lined up. Shouldn't have been that close but it worked out in the end.

The weather on the field today was so bad that they were concerned about kicking a 20 yard field goal.

And they were right to be concerned.

Completely agree with AEBERG.

Seemed like a really dumb play call considering the risk and the fact that it was a millisecond from being a horrendous move. Felt like philbin was coaching on that final 1st down series.
