Now before some of you start bashing this post and start calling me a homer or not a true fan or this and that, just gear me out. All this protesting and petitions will not change anything, especially the root of the problem. Which is Stephen Ross!! This art dealer turned NFL owner is absolutely clueless. He has changed this team into the joke it has become. Fins Up crap, orange carpet, celebrity owners, hiring and KEEPING Ireland. The list goes on. What we need to do is absolutely stop buying tickets and stop going to games.

Any business runs a lot like the stock market. For Stephen Ross, the Fins are an investment. We the fans are what makes his investment either go in the red, or in the black. As with any investment/stock, if it starts falling into the black, the investor sells. We need to make sure this happens, and quickly. This is a rash and tough move we as fans can make, but imo it is the right one. Now myself, I used to have season tickets when I lived down there in south Florida but now that I currently live in vero beach, I usually attend two to three games a year. Obviously I won't be attending this year because I am a firm believer in my opinion. I hope you guys are too.

Technically the front office and ownership work for us. As long as we are happy with the decisions being made and the product on the field, we support OUR team. As soon as we believe they are inept and not doing the right thing, we need to stop with our support/investments. Unfortunately I don't think there is any other way for us to change the direction of this franchise. Players have made it painfully clear our front office is in shambles.

For get Fire Ireland...We need to start Sell Ross!!

Nah as much as I hate what's been going on, I'm never going to turn my back on the fins and the players who dedicate there lives to the sport. Hopefully there will be a silver lining after the draft.

Funny thing is you are probably right that it's the best way for fans to show their distain for how horribly the FO has run the frachise into the ground. Problem is 1) you'd have to convince the 5000 people who actually show up to the game, not to go; and 2) Ireland would convince Ross that the fanbase have no support and sell/move the team to Los Angeles.

I had a feeling someone would bring that up but i just don't think there is a way in Hell they could move this team. First I don't think the NFL would let them. There is obviously a strong fanbase down here in south Florida. NFL wouldn't want a team that is the biggest team in their community to leave for LA. They want a team with a low market a smaller fan base or create a new team all together.

I also think, with this franchise planted in this community, the better option would be to just sell the team. Would love to see Marino buy it but we would need to take up a collection so he could afford it.

Can't you just wait until the FA and draft are over and then maybe see how the season starts before you would go to this extreme? We've added a good coaching staff and I'm confident our GM and HC have a plan. I will reassess after the first few games.....not 1 wk into free agency.

It was a joke. Mainly about the point of Ross blindly believing anything Ireland tells him. I don't really think they'd move the team, just pointing out they'd blame the fans not themselves.

Maybe you can just get Ross to move the team. In 4 or 5 years we could just start over when the league expands.

Ross didn't hire Ireland.

See that is the problem with you Ireland haters. You can't even get the little things right. Your to busy bashing, that you lose all ability to think in your posts.:lol2:

And Ross won't sell the team after a few years of ownership. You don't become a NFL owner and quit because you have a loud vocal MINORITY calling for heads. When you buy a franchise in a fair weather market, you work through the problems, not kneel before the few.

l before the few.

He hired him when he chose not to fire him!! So unlike ur way of thinking, he technically did hire him. Also, u are acting pike this is something that has just happened this year. This has been an ongoing issue for years. Not just this one. Ireland continues to screw this team and Ross just let's it happen because he is oblivious. And LOUD VOCAL MINORITY?! Your kidding right? This is most the fan base who is in the same corner. It's the mindless thinkers like yourself who.year after year sit back and say, well I believe they are going in the right direction. Or those who say, Ireland and his goons know more about football than 98% of us. Ummm why is that? I think most NFL fans are very passionate fans and have a pretty good idea of evaluating players. Ireland and just a normal shmo like you and me, he just got the opportunity to get hired in the NFL and work his way up.

You guys are amazing! Saying to wait until after the draft and that you believe there is a plan in place. What have you not learned over the past years? This team as much as I love them will be terrible and if you can see that I can tell you've never played football to understand what little talent we have.

Not buying tickets is the only real way to make a difference. Of course you can support them on TV but being there is pointless when there are only 10,000 people in the stand. Have you not heard other stadiums when New England, Pittsburgh, Kansas City score? The place goes nutz! In Miami you can barely hear a thing on TV.

Stop going and support from the TV and on the board otherwise your just buying into Ireland and Ross literally

From the looks of the stadium on gameday the last few years, this approach has already been tried. Unfortunately, the opposing teams fans keep buying up about half of the seats each week and coming on down to S Fla to make a mini vacation out of it.

Nothing unfortunate about it. You are allowed to bet on the visitor and for whatever reason the oddsmaker continues to allow home field points in that stadium.

never going to give up on my team no matter how bad it is .. i stuck by them when they lost 7 straight last year went 1-15 and everything in between ..

didn't want peyton OR flynn or SMITH .. so until after the draft .. i don't worry
