1.)Christian Wilkins, DL out of Clemson(6'3",315)
-The new face and future of the defense starts here with Wilkins. Will finally solidly our DT rotation. The talent here is promising, and can move onto other parts of the defense.

2.)Justin Layne, CB out of Michigan St.(6'2',192)
-Favorite player in the draft. Reminds me so much of Xavien. I think its be wise as a franchise as to just attack strengths of the team.

Logically speaking, that's how(1 way) a culture or an identity for a team can be formed organically.

2 positions on the teams just got a huge shot in the arm, two rounds in.

3.)Max Scharping, RT out of N. Illinois(6'7",327)
-I don't think we can get out of next season feeling good about ourself if we dont have capable bodies on the edges of our offense. We have to walk out this draft with a T, no later than rd 4.

4.)Wyatt Ray, DE/OLB out of Boston College(6'3",257)
-Reminds me of Cam Wake the way he binds, and gets off the line. I'd like to see what he can do in space. But as a pass rusher, he looks like a 7+ sacks guy.

5.)Justin Hollins, DE/OLB out of Oregon(6'5",249)
-Another high effort player. Getting decent upside players like Hollins & Ray, respectively, will go a long way in fortifying a talent, young depth chart for this D.

7.)Tony Pollard, RB out of Memphis(6'0",208)
-I think has a good shot at sticking on the 53. Open slot at that 3rd rn spot. Can also offer STs help, which we need.

7b.)Gardner Minshew, QB out of Washington St.(6'1",226)
-No matter the rd, a QB has to be taken. This should be known always. Minshew has a slingers mindset, so he could benefit from Fitzpatrick.

You're welcome, Grier.

Seems doubtful Wilkins makes it to us now with Sweat and Gary sliding...

Beyond that -- no crits on your work -- just my opinion

you have to address IOL by R4

:)

HUGE fan of Scharping, could definitely see us targeting him. Don't like not getting McCoy, Jenkins or Gaillard. Maybe replace the BC kid with Gaillard and then take either Ray or Hollins in the next round?

not bad here. Love Wilkins. Hollins in the 5th would be nice.

Makes sense and I like it. But Miami will maneuver out of 13 and pick up some more picks.

I definitely like adding impact at DT and CB early. Will make that secondary very formidable and the team can still take some kind of shape in absence of a future QB for the time being.

We can't address every position but we all want them to try.

I’m a big fan of Layne and thought he quietly had an amazing year at MSU. If there’s a candidate for this year’s X Howard Layne would have my vote.
When I found out he used to be a WR his freshman yr, I watched more highlights of him & instantly became enamored. Imagine what he'll be like around X, Mink, & 2 yrs. of authentic coaching tutelage. Crazy good secondary.
