It seems like the 3 most important plays of the game kind of went unnoticed.
1. Lex Hilliard's MONSTER run on 3rd and 17. This play get bottled up and the game is 3-3, Carolina had all the momentum. The first big shift in momentum, and a hell of a run by a guy from Montanta, who makes the most of his very few chances.
2. Yeremiah Bell's touchdown saving tackle on DeAngelo Williams. Most would agree that if Carolina ran the ball more, we would've have some serious trouble stopping them. This tackle meant everything to our defense.
3. Chad Henne's out of the pocket "play extending" throw to Davone Bess. Henne might not have the numbers (nor does he have the receivers). But the definition of a great QB begins in the 4th quarter, and I just watched two games in 5 days. This guy gets it done in the 4th quarter.
those are my game balls... yea Garner's workload deserves attention too... and obviously Ricky had a HUGE game, but I think we were counting on Ricky to have a big game...
