Last night, even though our team REALLY sucks and that's the main reason why we can't win....A HUGE reason why we didn't win is that we were in 3rd and 10 situations at least like 4 or 5 times where Dave sends the RB right into the middle of the line for a gain of 1-maybe...Mostly a 3 yard loss. Dave makes this team even sorrier than it actually is...But we are horrible.:o

after game one I thought we were close..

after game two I worried a little, but still thought we were close..

after game three its clear to me weve got some serious issues.. I hope we can turn it around, but SO FAR it looks like we are headed for a rough season and a top 10 (maybe even 5) Pick in the draft..

Something funny I found on another site:

A very funny/sad post I found on a Phin forum

"Just how bad our play calling is was illustrated to me tonight while watching the game at Damon's Grill.

During football games, people at the bar can use the trivia controllers to play a game where they guess what the upcoming plays will be for both teams. On average, people tend to get the call right 25-50% of the time. The crowd at the bar got about 33% of the Steelers calls right, for example.

Tonight, a bar full of drunks, as a whole, knew what plays Miami was going to call almost 80% of the time. I can only imagine how hard opposing teams' defensive coaching staffs laugh at us during games"

Unlucky13.

Now how sad is THAT?

3rd and 19, we ran the ball up the middle. :nono:
I would say that was most glaring call I can think of last night. I understand that the weather was bad, but the point of having a QB is to throw the ball.

Why not throw it deep, and if it's picked off......it's as good as a punt. Maybe you get a pass interference or holding call. Maybe you actually complete the pass. The defenders were at a disadvantage with their footing as well.

I don't like playin the field position game either. If we're losing 3-0, and we can't move the ball on offense, then deductive reasoning tells me we're gonna lose 3-0. I think the coaching staff is relying too heavily on the defense scoring points. You should never go into a game with that kind of thinking. The defense is out their to make stops and create TO's. TD's are a bonus if they can get 'em.

I remeber just falling back into my seat after that play thinking WTF just happened.....I was dumbfounded.

Not me, I just think back to the last game of the 2002 season vs. the Pats.
