Last Pats Game

No reason not to line up from under center and run it 30+ times, utilizing play action. As I mentioned in another thread, New England is the only team in the league allowing 30 or more rushes per game. That should serve to deflect some of the nonsense that rushes only occur late in the game based on who is leading. Opponents have had success running the ball and controlling the game. Brady simply pulled a few of them out, like our game, the Saints game, and last week against Cleveland.

If we sit back in the shotgun on early downs, Belichick will have wrinkles we haven't seen and aren't prepared for.

Hopefully they won't get bailed out on a bunch of bs this time...but if you saw that 15 yard personal foul call on the td prior to the onside kick they recovered last week you'd probably doubt it...all shoulder...

The pats are good enough without the officials giving them things...

Jones has come back somewhat in the last few games to being around average. The first 10 games were horrible. I don't know the last time I've seen such a drop off from one year to the next, although Clabo was close.

Thats because for some reason Coyle changed the role in which they used Jones this year vs 2012 which was reported in mini-camp.

Reshad Jones is the only player on defense that has played 100% (913/913) of the snaps and second is Chris Clemons which has played 906/913

Just a hunch that both teams will be throwing early.

The 14 yarder he gave up was for a TD, one of two he has given up all year.

Yes, that was the first play he came into the game after Dimitri went down. he was targeted immediately.

Holly crap, 913 d snaps in 13 games is 70 snaps per game.

We are lucky we have a winning record with the d being on the field that much.

I remember the Bengals game we faced 94 snaps and still won.
Bizarre.
