Last real preseason game, what are you looking for?

This is usually the most important game as for the starters will play the most so you want to see little mistakes offence in a grove and the defense getting after it and maybe hopefully get some turnovers being that was our biggest problem on defense not creating enough turnovers last year ill be keeping a close eye on our new addtions wallace, gibson, ellerbe, wheeler and grimes.That being said we play the bucs on monday night football at there house so i dont expect us to be showing to much and tipping our hand but i want to see the offense in a rythum and put up some points and the defense shutting them down!!!!!!!!!! :hclap:
 
I want to see RT show better consistency reading the defense and better accuracy. From what I've seen so far he's been off his game some, although the last game he got better so I'd like to see him throw a few TDs and look like he's getting into a nice rhythm with the starting unit. I also would like to see the TEs we do have right now step up and prove that we don't need to add anyone else.
 
I'd like to see Wallace beat Darrelle "Hot sauce" Revis for at least one long gainer before they both get pulled.I'd like to see 2 drives from the 1's resorting in 14 points.And I'd like Matt Moore to get 6 drives before Devlin or Aaron Corp come in.And of coarse no injuries.

I will be watching the OL and running game against their front seven. Their defense has a pretty good front seven and if I am not mistaken was first in the league last year in run defense. In any case, this game will be a good gauge of how our OL will look come week 1.

Yeah their front 4 is a top 2 or 3 in the league in my book. I would rank Detroit #1 and Tampa #2. But then again that is just my opinion.

That is kinda like asking for a winning lottery ticket. The sky is always going to be falling, unless we play mistake free and win by 45. Look at the jgas game. We won by 24 with no injuries and there were still 5 negative post for every positive.
 
These two teams look a lot alike.
-both have two of the best safety combos in the NFL. Fins have two that have grown together, bucs have two big names that have to prove it.
-both have two big time FA #1 CBs. Bucs have the highest paid CB, fins have Grimes who has been fitting in a little better so far.
-both have VERY good front 4s. They have the bigger names but we have a top 7 group as well, maybe top 5 with healthy DJ
-both have high priced FA #1 WRs that the teams are needing to produce to have successful seasons.
-both have moble QBs who finished towards the bottom of the league last year, and both teams need them to improve significantly to have a chance at a playoff run.
-both teams have fans who think this is the year things get turned around.

As for what I am looking for.
1. Win the turnover battle vs starters. Both offenses are going to be inferior to the others defense, turnovers will prove who has the most composure.
2. Hear some HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE. I know it is just a preseason game, but I think the fans need to show WE BELIEVE.
3. See Jamar Taylor have a really solid game, and Patterson convince us that the Marshall move was a good move.
4. Would LOVE to see our OL handle one of the toughest DLs in football. Not dominate, but show that we can get by with what we have.

I will also be watching J Martin a lot this week. This will be his first big test to see how far he has come.
 
This is NOT our final pre-season game. Our real dress rehearsal final pre-season game comes next Thurs against the SAINTS on our turf.

Typically, the last preseason game the 1st team only plays a small amount if at all, will be lucky if the starters place one series next Thursday.

I think this is the dress rehersal and hardly any starters will play next week,maybe 1 series if that.
 
Health at this point. I am fine going into the opener. Plus, this team was so horrid in the preseason last year and yet came out of the gates being competitive. I think the staff has the team in position to be that much better in the opener. Get me through with the best players available.
 
TEs, with the loss of Keller, I'd like to see the other guys step up...
