last time miami won a play off game

I think it was '00. I believe it was Peyton's colts, where Lamar smith ran for 209 yards on 40 carries. Indy was up 14-0 and then Miami came back,I think the 4th quarter or maybe the rally started in the 4th. tied 17-17 went to overtime, and Lamar ran for winning over time TD Miami won 23-17. then got smacked by the raiders in the next game

December 30, 2000 at home against the Colts in overtime. Lamar Smith had 209 yards rushing in that game. In the overtime the Colts also stupidly, purposely played for a 51 yard field goal attempt, that missed.

Smith was incredible that day...he didn`t do squat the next week, but he was lights out against the Colts.

They played the game on a Saturday (12/30). Lamar said he could barely get out of bed........ON THURSDAY.

I'll never forget that game. Vanderjagt wasn't one to miss FG's but in that game he did. Then Lamar Smith's amazing run at the end. Excellent game that I've watched quite a few times since.

It was blacked out locally. :|

I remember watching the bars move on my computer screen on gamecenter.. Live Radio was free on NFL.com back then too.

Vanderjagt had missed one kick all season prior to that miss. Was 25/26.

Yup. It sold out before kickoff, but not the Thursday deadline.

I remember the reason I didn't go was because I was at the game two weeks earlier when we lost to the Colts at home. Game really wasn't as close as the score. We were terrible.

One week prior to this game, we beat New England for the division title. That was the game where the refs interrupted Wanny's locker room speech so Michael Bishop could try and heave a million yard hail mary to end the game. There were players out there in shower towels. There was ONE fan in the stands.

I was at that game and it was one of the most memorable experiences I've ever had.
