I was just going through Joe Schad's draft analysis from last year. It's interesting to see what was said about the players and what actually happened. It makes you wonder about this year's draft... (I would have posted just the link but there is a ton more on that page than just this, most of which is not related to the draft)

Player: William Poole
School: USC
Position: CB
Height: 5-10
Weight: 193
Hometown: St. Albans, N.Y.
The skinny: Was projected as high as the first round. Poole fits Miami's press coverage scheme because he is physical and has good instincts. One publication said Poole is a shutdown corner similar to Antoine Winfield, who played for the Bills last season.

Dolphins Draft Vernon Carey

Carey could start right away at right guard or tackle.
The move became imperative after Philadelphia traded up to No. 16 to take Shawn Andrews.

Player: Vernon Carey
Pick: First Round, 19th overall
Position: Right tackle/Right guard
Height: 6-feet-4
Weight: 363 pounds
Hometown: Miami
The skinny: The Dolphins expect Carey to start right away at right tackle. He's big, strong, athletic, has the power to dominate games and provide run-blocking for Ricky Williams.

Player: Tony Bua
School: Arkansas
Position: LB
Height: 5-11
Weight: 209
Hometown: River Ridge, La.
The Skinny: Very intelligent, but some say he has a screw loose based on how he plays the game. Physical, explosive, mean, nasty, instinctive. Lacked the coverage skills to play safety on the NFL level. At times, loses control of his emotions.

Player: Rex Hadnot
School: Houston
Position: C/G
Height: 6-2
Weight: 323
Hometown: Lufkin, Texas
The Skinny: A strong run blocker who is tough and aggressive. Hadnot has struggled with weight and stamina.

Player: Tony Pape
School: Michigan
Position: G/T
Height: 6-6
Weight: 323
Hometown: Clarendon Hills, Illinois
The Skinny: A limited athlete who lacks quickness but is considered tough and physical. He has strong upper-body strength.

Player: Derrick Pope
School: Alabama
Position: LB
Height: 6-1
Weight: 226
Hometown: Galveston, Texas
The Skinny: An outstanding athlete who would have gone higher if he was taller. Will be an oustanding special teamer because of his speed and toughn
