I have taken notice how the guys we aquired last year in Free Agency are really making a difference this year. Most of the defensive players came froma 4-3 defense, but after a year in the 3-4 they are coming along nicely. Randy Starks is having a monster season, Reggie Torbor has cracked the lineup and is in a three man rotation with Akin & Crowder. You then got Charlie Anderson who stepped up big at the end of last year and is doing it again. Nathan jones & Tyrone Culver have become a real nice additions.

Then there is Mr. Automatic Lousaka Polite. We also got Joey Haynos who I think is coming along nicely. You have to admit while not all are starters The trifecta found solid depth and players for this team last year.

I agree. The trifecta knows what its doing, I have complete trust in them. Dont let some of the idiotic posters on this site tell you otherwise.

Sperry had a heck of a game yesterday hope he continues it. I forgot to mention Nate Garner who Sparano praise tremendously today. No sacks & 199 rushing yards on the kids first start. Tony Mcdaniel has looked good as a backup as well.

Would love to see what Hilliard & Sheets do.

I'm pretty happy about increasing the depth. The things that worry me are two positions; QB and WR. QB because they took a gamble trying to find their QB of the future in the second round and it remains to be seen whether Henne will just be a competent QB or a star QB. And WR because the guys they brought in this year just haven't been very impressive.

You forgot guys like Cam Wake and Justin Smiley.

But let me say that as time goes along, we will see less and less free agent signings. This team is building through the draft, like the Steelers and Colts do. You never see the Colts and Steelers signing big name free agents. They build through the draft, that's why they have solid depth all through their rosters and have great chemistry on their teams.

The Dolphins signed some free agents, however they were coming off an awful 2007 team that was garbage. They needed to add some bodies to the roster last year.

But as time goes, you won't see many free agents signed as the team builds it's roster (and it's depth) via the draft. Our front office has the "Bill Polian" philosophy when it comes to building teams.

Whenever you are good on the offensive and defensive lines you have a chance to win games.

Miami hasn't been blown out once this season. Maybe you can say the Atlanta game when we handed them 4 turnovers, but Miami hasn't been grossly outplayed and/or blown out in any game.

I like where this young team is headed for the future. Let's not forget after the Penny and Will Allen injuries that Miami is the 3rd youngest team in the NFL (currently).

Grove has been awesome as well. My only exception is Wilson & Wilford.

Yeah Wilford was a bust, Wilson is still coming along but he is more of a run stuffing S, and we have one of those in Y.bell.
