Goes to my high school set all types of records all long island and was a wrestling state champion

6th or 7th round steal to give us some depth at ILB.

J.J. Pesavento, of Next Level Scouting, reports University of Hofstra LB Gian Villante measured a height of 6-foot-1 3/4 and a weight of 252 pounds at his Pro Day. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.59 seconds and 4.64 seconds. He measured a 34 1/2-inch vertical jump and completed 30 repetitions on the 225-pound bench press. -KFFL.

i wrestled in high school so i have alot of respect for football players who wrestled and i know how hard it is to win a state championship (did you know ray lewis won state in wrestling) but i dont know anything about this guy. post some stats or something but his athletic ability looks pretty good

I think we should go after Kroy Biermann, LB, for Montana...looks like the Dolphins have already talked to him: He is 6'3", 246.

03/03/08 - Biermann, though he's projected to play linebacker at the next level, was tested with the defensive linemen. His vertical jump of 31fi inches ranked him eighth, and his three-cone drill time of 7.08 seconds tied him for sixth. Both would have put him in the top 10 among linebackers as well. His 29 reps in the bench press - this is at 225 pounds - would've tied him for first among linebackers. Neither player ran what he wanted to in the 40 - Biermann said he ran 4.8 seconds, and Hilliard said the NFL Network reported his time at 4.63 - but there's a pro day to run at in Missoula on March 17. They could get their times down there. Hilliard didn't show up in nearly every category like Oregon's Jonathon Stewart, and Biermann doesn't compare favorably with Georgia Tech linebacker Gary Guyton. On paper, anyway. “You look at numbers and you look at the No. 1 athlete,†Biermann said. “And the difference is two inches here or two-tenths of a second there. On paper it may look big, but when you look at that athlete when he runs - he's only beating you by a stride. It's not like he's beating you by 5, 10 yards.†All of which begs the question: Why go through it? What if they had an NFL combine and nobody came? “It was definitely stressful,†Hilliard said. “But it's a once-in-a-lifetime deal. I'll never get another chance to do that. It was definitely a good experience.†“It is what it is,†said Biermann, who had formal interviews with Miami, Kansas City and Jacksonville, and spoke with all 32 NFL franchises. “They're investing a lot of money in an individual that will have to perform at a very high level. They're going to look you over and scrutinize you.†- Fritz Neighbor, The Missoulian

Here here! I'm ecstatic to hear we've interviewed him, as he's my favorite sleeper. Check this out, it hilights his rise from a freshman rush end to a senior monster and Player of the Year for his collegiate level. He maintains his speed while adding bulk and strength, never gives up, has good instincts, was raised in Montana and that's probably why the big schools never knew to scout him, so he went to his local school, Montana. Watch this ... you'll likely want to watch it a few times. :woot:

Kroy Biermann (yes yes, cool name too. :) )

Nice video....I would take a shot at grabbing him on Day 2.

The Dolphins have been showing interest in both Kroy Biermann as well as A.J. Raebel. Similar types.

Wow...those 2 plays from :35 to :45 show amazing power and athleticism. Nice Video.
