At least they're thinking of the right positions. Maybe not the right people or in the right order, but they're in the ballpark.

Perhaps, but what I don't understand is that they have the Dolphins taking D.J. Moore with our first round pick, even though Terrence Cody is still on the board. This is not a swipe at Moore, but I can't imagine Bill, Jeff, and Tony passing up the monstrous Mt. Cody if he became available.
 
Gotta focus on D-backs.......my next priority after this would be adding a quality LB...I just don't think Crowder is the answer at MLB and nowhere near the player Zach was.

I like Britt, but you could probably land him in the third round. Our first second round pick should go towards a FS, like Rashad Johnson out of Alabama. Or FS Courtney Greene out of Rutgers.

did you notice the Vante Davis is still on the board too? He has CB from vandy ranked 4nd CB in the draft? so therefore the pats get vante davis...Pats fan? We had better take vante davis in that spot if the draft worked out likethat. He is a beast

Yes, I did notice that Vontae is on the board. However, if I was a betting man, and with this regime if it came down to Vontae Davis or Terrence Cody, this regime wouldn't hesitate to take Cody. Bill believes in having big, strong, and physical OL's and DL's. Cody fits that mold to a T. He is a huge reason why the Crimson Lied is having the season their having.
 
I'd just be worried about Cody getting too big and having weight problems. im a roll tide fan, and thats been a problem for him.

BUT....he is a BEAST of a man

biggest concern about Cody IMO he's taller than most NTs in the league, andhe could also struggle with weight problems (and weight is an issue as the Steelers have deactivated Casey Hampton a couple times in the last couple of years because he got too heavy). He might be better suited to 3-4 DE in the pros.

If we go for a NT IMO we'd go with Terrence Taylor or BJ Raji in the 2nd, or the kid from Duke if he enters the draft.

the draft is alright. I would not be upset about that draft, but I would not be overly excited. Of course, I felt the same way about this year's rookie class and they're doing alright.

It's a three round mock, and Miami's picks are as follows:

1. CB D.J. Moore, Vanderbilt
2a. WR Kenny Britt, Rutgers
2b. FS Derek Pegues, Mississppi State
3. CB Coye Francies, San Jose State

I gotta be honest, I'm not 100% in love with this mock.

There is no way that Parcells and Ireland go for all skill positions with the first four picks.
