PFT states on its rumormill that:

"A league source tells us that the Dolphins quarterback Daunte Culpepper could be eyeballing the Green Bay Packers as his next NFL landing spot."

http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm

It makes sense from the point of view that the Pack doesn't need a QB this year, but they could in a year, and they don't seem to trust Aaron Rodgers.

:err:

Still say he goes to the Jags; makes much more sense in Jacksonville. Don't the Packers run the WCO? Culpepper didn't want to learn the WCO with Childress in Minny.

100% :bs:. I could start a story like that too...

Breaking news! "An unamed NFL source has said Daunte Culpepper is planning on making a trip to Indianapolis to compete for the starting quarterback spot. This is puzzling since Peyton Manning has started and never missed an NFL game during his tenure as a Colt. This is just another report supporting what we have all been speculating all the long; That Mr. Culpepper has no idea what being an agent is all about - And a man for that matter".

What makes anyone think Green Bay would want him

True... but I doubt PFT would make up such a story. If anything, the informant's info could be total B.S. Who knows...

On a side note, if true, it seems funny that the Pack seems to be going after ex-Vikings that rocked their world a few seasons ago... First Moss, now Culpepper? If you can't beat em, join em (or something...). Kinda like the Pats taking ex-Dolphins, I guess.

some of you people go too far now c-pep isn't a man now, WOW , well he's better off than you, people around the nfl know that the reason cam isn't letting c-pep practice is because they don't want him showing up green PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rocked their world? The Packers have owned the Vikings; they won 3 straight division titles in 2002, 2003, and 2004 [Culpepper's best year].

The fact that he's had like 20TDs to 0ints in the last few games he's played against them. He's torched the pac at Lambeau and at the Metrodome the last 5 or 6 games he's faced them.

I dont know, maybe monitarily, but in terms of brainpower...I am absolutely sure I possess more than he does...Oh yeah, both my legs work 100% too...

In all actuality I wasnt making this a personal thing although you seemingly felt the need to. How exactly would he show up TG anyways? Since when is a cry baby a man?

I don't really think that you C-pep lovers understand that he is not ready to play. The dud just had surgery again during the latter part of the season. He isn't showing anybody up. He may break the damn knee again and never play another down in the NFL. He is no Willis McGahee.

I agree...its like some of them cant put 2 and 2 together...And how someone can take a guy who played here for 4 games (And badly at that) over the fins is questionable as well

Please inform us of how you know so much about his health condition. Wasn't he cleared to practice?
