Lawrence Phillips, the troubled running back who is remembered as one of the great busts in the history of the NFL draft, is accused of murdering his prison cellmate.
Phillips, who is currently serving a 31-year sentence in a California state prison for convictions on charges including auto theft and spousal abuse, has now been named as the suspect in the death of his cellmate, a convicted murderer named Damion Soward.

I was hoping that after all these years he might have cleaned up his act. What a waste of a life.

Would like to hear the details of the why the guy he supposedly killed was convicted of murder. Might be one of those instances where I'm like "good".

Not saying it was justified, but seeing that his cellmate was convicted for murder, we might need to hear more details concerning what led to the incident. Things happen in prison that can turn a lot of people into a murderer if your back is against the wall. Or if your hands are against the wall.

Phillips is the reason I don't do stupid things anymore.

"here's your cell mate, angry maniac, former NFL player who can snap you like a twig, Lawrence Phillips."

Nope

The only details I've seen was that he was serving 82 years to life for first degree murder. Honestly I'm surprised we never saw Pouncey wearing a hat with his name on it.
