Lay off Fasano.

1. It was a poorly thrown pass by Henne. Off target, wrong speed.

2. Fasano should've caught it anyway.

3. Things like this are why Miami isn't a very good football team, and will continue to not be a very good football team. Most of you have difficulty distinguishing which players suck, and which players suck worse.

A franchise quarterback is a quarterback that makes those players around him BETTER. They accomplish that by doing the little things correctly that get overlooked by fanbases.

Chad Henne will never make anyone around him better, he's not capable. In fact, he's only capable of making good players average, and average players look bad.

Henne is an extremely average quarterback that's been extremely poorly coached by extremely poor coaches. The bottom line is that he'll never make anyone around him better.... He needs to be propped up by elite talent all along the offensive line, and at the skill positions just to have a chance in this league.

If they haven't replaced the quarterback and the head coach 8 years from now... there's not a single iota of doubt in my mind that the same threads and same arguments that go on around here every single day will still be taking place.

LOL - you have ZERO credibilty - you argue or the sake of argument - ball was perfect

Ball speed really - that's why they have this thing called a JUGS machine - it fires balls at you

This pass came from over 15 yards - easily should have been caught -

My word - Marino would have thrown it even harder - how many balls went of the grill of his intended receiver into the hands of a defender and he ripped the intended receiver...? What a bunch of Princesses... This wasn't a swing pass route -

First, that throw is completely on Fasano....PERIOD! Second, Fasano is a serviceable TE who can catch ok and block ok. He would be a 2nd-3rd stringer on most teams. I agree with some of the posts here, TE should have been addressed. Henne seems to like the TE's, especially in the red zone.

Wow, you love you some Henne. I truly can't wait to hear you eat crow when he for the last time proves he is awful and is benched never to be seen again.

Fasano should have caught it, but how can you guys fail to see that a good QB wouldnt have made that pass behind Fasano. Henne and Fasano are backups on any other team.

Mr Fasano let Mr. Bush introduce you to something completely new to you

Yah - Henne should have led him a little farther and had Fasano's head ripped off brillliant -

Dude, first off I don't "love me some Henne". I support the guy because he is our QB and has had a crappy hand to deal with (as have all QB's who were here under Henning). Does he need to play better? Yes! Do I beleive he can? Yes! I would like to see what he can do under this new offense that uses his strengths, not an offense that was suited for Penny that he himself sucked worst in in his last 4 games than any stint Henne has had ( 2TD's, 6 int's, 4 fumbles, 9 sacks in just over 3 games). I am tired of the clueless bashers blaming Henne for everything because they didn't get the toy they wanted in the off season (Orton), who by the way sucked in his debut.

2nd, " eat crow"? dude really? seriously? REALLY? Do you have your handy dandy Finheaven guide book for that one? Grow up! If Henne is cut tomorrow, I will support who ever the QB is. If Moore wins the QB competition, I will support him. Unlike some on here, who care more about being wrong or right for argument sake and pull for Henne to play like crap so they can come on here and bash, and actually pull for other teams QB's to play better; I want this team to win....period. I hope that is with Henne because we have invested some time and effort into him. He has a great work ethic, does everything the coaches ask, and has all the tools.

If he can't put it all together, I will support who ever is in there.....just like I have for the last 35 years I have been a fan of this team. Eat Crow? Please!

So... Henne's poor pass placement is actually preventing injurys? It's all coming together now.

Clearly you have never played football where a QB can lead his player into a bad situation - ever heard of head shots and head injuries?

Fasano should have caught that pass but I agree henne put more on it then was needed. Also fasano tried running with out the ball.

Yah - Henne should have led him a little farther and had Fasano's head ripped off brillliant -

Would you want Fasano to take a hit, or would you want to risk an interception? I'll take Fasano getting hit any day.

Henne should have just thrown to another receiver, or thrown the ball away.

To the contrary... you sir, have ZERO credibility. You've never known what you were talking about and STILL don't. You're lost in HenneLand, and brutally inaccurate when it comes to football.

Rev... you thought Chad Henne was a better quarterback than Matt Ryan.... you and I made that little wager last year, remember? How's that working out for you?

As you can see in this highlight clip, even the numbers you make up in your head are vastly different from reality. On the interception Henne threw to Fasano at the :53 mark in this clip, the ball traveled EXACTLY 10 yards in the air from Henne's release point to where it hit Fasano. The LOS was Miami's own 48... Henne set up at his own 43 to release the pass... and it hit Fasano at Atlanta's 47 yardline... that's precisely 10 yards in the air the ball traveled.

The ball was thrown too hard, and at Fasano's back shoulder.... that's why Fasano was turned 180 degrees. You have to be able to adjust the velocity on your passes... Henne can't do it. Nevermind the fact that he missed his read anyway and should've thrown it to #31 instead who sat down in the flat while the defender was playing a soft zone.

The second interception at 2:24 in the clip is again an example of Henne throwing late outside the numbers... it's a critical error that NFL quarterbacks shouldn't make. He double clutches the ball (while staring down his target) resulting in the DB recovering from his bite on the playaction and intercepting the pass. Henne is TERRIBLE.

I want you to look at the pass Matt Ryan throws at 1:48 to Weems (a backup). He throws a perfect ball with perfect trajectory and touch OVER the linebackers and in front of the safety for a completion against zone coverage. That's how you play the position.

Rev, you might actually be somewhat amusing to talk football with if you ever had ANY clue what the hell you were talking about. Stick to hockey....

Henne should have just thrown to another receiver, or thrown the ball away.

It couldn't have been more perfect and Fasano should have done his twenty push ups right there and then for getting TWO FREAKING hands on the ball -

Like I said earlier why is Reggie Bush on the JUGS machine after practice and not these other stiffs
