Lay off Fasano.

your missing one little tidbit in your pause the dvr analysis...all henne can see is that the db is outside of fasano...he can't judge how far away with the db is just that if he throws it out front the dbs out there and close...and will close...i'm not gonna sit here and say i know for sure what henne's thinking there but to me if all i can see is the db outside squatting and i can't judge distance i'm gonna throw the ball back inside to the inside shoulder provided the trailing backers not there which he wasn't and let my guy catch cradle and be ready for a hit in his back...instead f leading him into a potential big shot with his arms out and exposed
.

and gryphonk i've been told i have an "agenda" before and it ticks me off...its anything but the case...my goal is to call a spade a spade...period

i hate that word

Fair enough, I will remember that and try to respect you on the agenda issue.

This is why it doesn't seem like you are being objective IMO.

You made a post that would give reasoning why Henne threw a little behind Fasano. But based on your post that would show a poor decision on Henne's part to throw to Fasano.

If he knew the play called and the routes his WR'S should be running, he would have known the moment he saw that DB "squat" he had a WR uncovered on the sideline.

So based on that he made a bad read and missed an opportunity.

So if we are gonna fault Fasano we need to fault Henne too.

But I fault neither personally

If we're going to spend 3 days debating and dissecting a preseason interception than this place is going to be fun come the regular season.

Fasano sucks. Underachiever, you always have high hopes and then he comes out and sucks. He should have caught that pass, he's a pro receiver and gets paid well. Who cares if the ball was a little behind him

Henne is a better quarter back than people give him credit.

I can't stand people placing all the blame on his first interception this pre season game on himself. People are quick to back up Fasano for making a few mistakes in his first game. but then you go an crucify Henne for one play.

That was an Awful catch, As a starting NFL TE you have to make a more better catch than what he did. You simply can't drop a 7 yard bullet completely in the hands of a TE. Sure Qb's have become increasingly athletic but asking a 235 pound guy running full speed to throw 180 deg, around and make a pass going that fast is a lot to ask. I'd be willing to bet a lot that his TE coach ripped him for that.

Point is I like Henne, he is a good passer on the line and an excellent locker room presence. I hated seeing posts endlessly bashing him after one play that was an incredibly hard throw.

Straight up - bro the dude should have immediately hit the turf and given 20 - but hey he nonchalantly walks off the field when he fumbles too - but has no issue berating his QB?

The ball hits Fasano in the hands, and somehow, it's Henne's fault? Exactly when did you start watching football?

That was an Awful pass, As a starting NFL qb you have to make a more accurate pass than what he threw. You simply can't throw a 7 yard bullet completely behind a tight end. Sure tight ends have become increasingly athletic but asking a 255 pound guy running full speed to spin 180 deg, around and catch a pass going that fast is a lot to ask. I'd be willing to bet a lot that his QB coach ripped him for that.

Point is I like Fasano, he is a good blocker on the line and an excellent downfield blocker. I hated seeing posts endlessly bashing him after one play that was an increadibly hard catch.

Yeah i agree and want to also add that he would have gotten crushed....And thats not good considering its pre season and an injury is not what you want...Good post next-year!
