Lazor , Coyle and Philbin press conferences

I know it was the Raiders and I know it wasn't a perfect performance, but there was an intensity, an energy and a level of enjoyment to the team in London that I haven't seen in many many games. I really wish the coaches would have acknowledged that publicly with a bit of energy of there own, admitted that it was a boost that will hopefully spark the team and not resort to the usual coach-speak drivel of "it's only one game", " there are a ton of corrections we need to make" yada yada.

I typically don't buy into the whole "the team looks flat/loose" thing. The players, and all of us are human, when you're making plays you're going to look happy and energized and when you're not making plays you're going to look sour. All you have to do is study a poker table for a while to get a pretty good sense of who's running good or running bad just based on the players body language, but that says nothing of how they're actually playing.

What I take away from this game is the pressure was up there for all the major players, maybe even playoff type pressure. It is encouraging that Tannehill played great in that circumstance, regardless of the numbers you could physically see the difference in the decision making and the accuracy. And the coordinators were told to be aggressive by the head coach, Philbin is more aggressive than most anyway and this is a situation where a lot of coaches may clamp up and play not to lose, but we went in the opposite direction and ratcheted up the aggression factor. That is a great sign.

I seriously hope when/if Miami fires Philbin, Lazor gets a chance to coach this team, yes I want Harbaugh and of course he is great but I like Lazor and he is very impressive as a speaker and a coach.

If this team has the same success offensively the rest of the year Lazor may get interviews with other teams.

He's got one year as an OC in the NFL, we're making a big assumption that the offense will make a jump, and he has no head coaching experience at all.

He's not gonna be getting calls, I don't think.

Sometimes when a team is facing adversity a road trip is a nice way to block out the noise. London was likely just what the doctor ordered.

Agreed, folks are getting a little carried away with this Lazor for HC talk.
If you guys want him as HC be prepared for on the job training and missteps.
It simply comes with the territory.
In a lot of ways Bill Lazor is a doppleganger of Jason Garrett.

A couple screw ups and the masses in FH will be shouting "Off with his Head!!!"

Yep, way too carried away. That said, absolutely loved the varied attack our offense showed against Oakland. If that's a glimpse of things to come, we can do some damage.
